For comparison, here are three 10-round Russian 7.62 rifles:

Kalashnikov Saiga 762
Simonov SKS-45 (1953)
Tokarev SVT-40 (1941)

I really like that bottom one!
Who's the manufacture of the Stock Parts in the lower picture with the blue backdrop.
Very swoopy looking... sort of like a 57 Chevy!

Thanks!

Yugo RPK with Green Mountain barrel. It was assembled by Century but is definitely one of their better builds. Runs great, accurate and fun to shoot.

Nothing beats the original!

No idea. That's how the rifle came and there are no identifying information on the stock or handguards.

Subject: Official AK-47 Picture Thread & question about pistol grip.
I am new and dumb to this posting stuff. Please forgive me if I've gotten in the wrong place. My only question is this: I have an AK-47 pistol made in Romania. It shoots great, no problems but I want to put a new pistol grip on it. Are the grips for the AK-47 pistols the same as the replcement ones for the rifles? Can you reccomend a good one?                    Thanks R.Adkins

I like the grip I have on my MAK-90 in the pic bellow I got it at Cheaper than dirt. it is one of the best grips I have used on a  AK. Most pistol grips will work on both the pistols and rifles. The only thing I would look at is the grip t nut removable or is riveted on if it has rivets you may need work a little harder to line up the screw with out cross threading it. I hope this helps.

Dear Sgt.   I wrote you one post and it dissapeared off the screen. Don't know if you got it or where it went? Just wanted to thank you for thr the info about the AK-47 pistol grip. Also really enjoyed looking at the picture of your gun. That's the most bad-assed thing I've seen for awhile. If you don't mind, would you e-mail me directly, I need to discuss something with you. Thanks again..........Retired and Happy
