Subject: Decent 9mm Ammo for a Glock 17
Hello, I am new to the ownership of a Semi Auto Pistol since the US Army back in the 80's and we carried the 1911 /45acp then. I have shot some Glocks in my time as in general Im a rifle person but am curious what type and brand of 9mm ammo that is decent Range Ammo but that will not dirty the gun too much? I do not mind spending a little more money so the gun is not as messy! At least not as dirty as cleaning a "Judge" after firing .410 and 45LC!! Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!
I am into Misurp weapons as well newer ones and like to stay with a certain platform caliber wise as to be able to one day learn to reload. Anyone on a local basis whom loves to teach about relaoding well Im a great student! :-)
Owner of just some:
Glock 17
Vepr 7.62x54R I am in Wuvvvvvvv!
Saiga 5.45x39mm
Saiga .410
Yugo SKS Love that one!
And more but not to worthy of mentioning!

Stick with the major U.S. brands, they tend to run cleaner. Federal, Speer and Remington to name a few. The Russian import stuff seems to be the dirtiest.

Almost any US made ammo is about the cleaniest around.  I think MagTech is about the cleaniest ammo but that is just my opinion.  I have found that the Winchester "White Box" is very dirty in my opinion.  I haven't found ANY ammo that my Glocks (G19,G23, G26, G27) won't fire.
