| I am not displeased with this item. Worked great. Just like any compass you have to keep it level. It almost identical(except it doesnt have degrees) to the one we use in the marines, except the ones we used have tritium for night use. Overall I think its a good compass. Nothing spectacular about it. Can't wait to actually get out and do a little land navigation. |

| Mine never seems to find north, it just kinda points in a different direction each time. I don't use it close to anything metal either. I would recommend a different compass, wouldn't trust this one worth anything. |

| Very disappointed in the compass because it only has Mils and no Degree markings. No declination scale adjustment. |

| I was a little disappointed in the bulky size of this compass. The backing is made of black plastic were the rest of the body is metal. The dial also takes a little too long to find north. That being said I prefer this compass to any other I could find online, plus you can't beat the price. It also has a couple of nice features like a marked straight edge and view finder for distant landmarks. |
