A great way to keep the snow and
brush off your boots and lower legs. These original Swiss military gaiters are used but appear to be in excellent condition, 8" long and cover the instep, ankles and lower shin/calf area. The gaiter wraps around your leg with three buckled
leather straps and under your
boot with a single buckled strap. All black leather with metal buckles riveted on.

I have these as well and I am very pleased with them. I didn't know they were Swiss until I saw the add on here. I wear them when I play paintball and airsoft.

These are really good quality for military gear. The thick leather isn't brittle from age and seems to have the same black coating most military leather has. My only issue is that unless you're wearing very tight laced military boots with thin socks and thin pants, these are a pretty tight fit if not impossible with boot styles that incorporate any kind of cushioning or insulation around the ankles. That or I received a small but there are no markings to account for that.

These are very well made, the metal buckles are strong and don't freeze in the cold snow. The leather is firm, but soft, and they do keep things out of your boots. I have used them a lot, and they preform well.
