I just received 3 of these gas cans. Excellent condition. I will wipe them off and that's all they need for maintenance. Great can to keep behind the seat of my trucks as a emergency tank.

decent , but I paid more

Ordered 2 of these, arrived quickly in decent condition. They are sturdy, but requires some TLC.

they were alittle rough but overall in good shape. Both had residue of used oil. Just needed to be cleaned and repainted.

A steal in steel!

I bought four of these little cans. The exterior of the cans was a little rough, surface rust, dirty and generally looked weathered. I took them to the carwash with some biodegradable cleaner and pressure washed the outside. Presto! they cleaned up very nicely. The cleaning solution I mixed up was strong so I checked out the inside of the cans and added about 6 ounces to the oily sludge inside, shook them up and emptied them out in my burn barrel. Washed the remainder out with Dawn dishwashing liquid and hot water. Spotless inside, so I checked the seals and latching lids. All was in great working order so off to the gas station to fill them up. They had a little moisture in them so I added a quarter can of Heat to each can before I filled it. No leaks or seal issues. I tried the Wedco brand fuel nozzles that I use with my large metal fuel cans. They fit and sealed perfectly! I think that these would be great for almost any liquid that doesn't degrade the seals. I will purchase more for use with oil, antifreeze, transmission fluid, diesel, stove fuel etc. Long term storage should be a breeze with a little fuel stabilizer. They hold about 1-1/4 gallons. Great little cans!

This gas can is perfect. Much safer than using a plastic gas can. Czech it out!

Oily sludge on the inside plus spots of rust on the outside, plus dirt. Too grungy for timid types who might limit their gear shopping to the Wally store. But for us who work with our gear, this is something to have. It'll take a couple of hours each to scour and Brillo and paint a couple of coats, but the end result will be worth the effort. This is constructed in a tough (Soviet Czech) way, with a seal that is far superior IMO to a screw-on cap. Bought two which I fixed then bought four more. Coming at this with the right attitude you will not be disappointed.

Ordered one can and it came pretty much as advertised. Can tell it has been in storage a long time and needed some cleaning on the outside. Paint-job not quite as nice as the picture, but OK. Inside is good and completely free from rust. Would buy again.

The cans were very rusted. I ordered 3 not one even comes close to looking like the one in the picture. They will need to be sand blasted and painted before use, I'm not sure how bad the inside is yet. I like the size and design.

These are some great cans, I carried 4 cans on my ATV at the Outlaw Trail Jamboree in Arizona, I went on a Trail called the Grizzly which was 105 miles long, without fear of running out of gas, I was impressed by the way these cans were bumped around on the trails and did'nt leak.un like plastic containers. and I can actually squeeze 1.25 gallon of fuel.

Great Deal

I bought 6 cans for 2 Atv's, I carry 4 on my kawi 650 BF, and 2 on my wife's kawi 300 prairie. I can carry 1 1/4 gallon in each can, These cans are VERY Durable, easy to carry, Fill, and pour. The best thing is, they don't leak when I hit the trails, I Had these Cans with me on a 105 mile Grizzly Trail, At the Arizona ATV Outlaw Trail Jamboree. on another 60 mile trail, My wife riding passenger, she used them for an arm rest. Again this is one great Product.

Bought two of these cans to use as spare fuel containers on my Ural motorcycle. Very nice resonably heavy cans. Perfect for the purpose. An excellent value.
