5.0 Rating Excellent Buy! - 8/6/2010Czech One Gallon Fuel Can Used Steel Can with Latching Lid5.0000

I bought 2 of these for my Jeep for rough country. They fit perfectly on my wheel wells, and I have one filled with coolant/anti-freeze and the other with oil. Mine came in great condition - seals are good. Very little rust on the outside (going to steel wool them and repaint them). Had left over fluid in them which washed out easily with dish soap. I wish they were offered in a 2.5 or 5 gallon for use as Gerry cans. Then I'd be in Wrangler heaven!

I bought two of these. Both came in good condition. T hey had what smelled and looked to be tranny fuild, or some other kind of gear oil. I used dawn soap, and they cleaned up quick. Also for the people worried about the gasket, you can get them made at any rubber shop or just flip the gaskets they will work fine.
4.0 Rating Rusty, but worth the $ - 5/14/2010Czech One Gallon Fuel Can Used Steel Can with Latching Lid4.0000

I bought 2 of these cans. I only needed one, but to save on per item shipping costs, I ordered 2 and gave one to a friend after I fixed it up. The cans I got were rusty on the outside. I got them sandblasted for $15 each, and painted them. Now mine is a perfect accoutrement to my WW2 vintage military motorcycle. They came with a little used crankcase oil in them, maybe to prevent rust, but this was easily rinsed out with gasoline. The seals on the lids were in good shape and effective. The cans are sturdy. 5.0 Rating Great little cans! - 5/10/2010Czech One Gallon Fuel Can Used Steel Can with Latching Lid5.0000

I ordered 4 of these cans after convincing my wife to let me have them for my birthday. I plan on giving one to my buddy for his B-day. These are in nice condition with a few scuff marks on each. The scuffs have light rust halos. There is no widespread rust, and they aren't dented or damaged. The lids closed and latched tightly. These were OIL containers or they oiled the insides for storage. Great price on these and are in pretty nice shape. Get them while you still can!

I just received 3 of these gas cans. Excellent condition. I will wipe them off and that's all they need for maintenance. Great can to keep behind the seat of my trucks as a emergency tank.
