| The good - The layout of the gun pocket and the mag pockets are great for cross draw, with the gun at 10:00 and the mag pockets 2:00 and 3:00. The width also allows for a tight fit on my 3.5" 9mm semi-auto. The mag pockets are perfect for knives too.
The bad - The stitching is minimal and will need to be reinforced for daily use. The velcro is strong, but that also causes the factory stitching to pull loose when peeling the velcro apart.
Even with the extra stitching work required to make this band more durable, CTD's price still makes it worth it.
Don't forget to add 4" to your actual waist size when picking one out. They're sized fairly tight.

| I had the medium one and it was too small so I bought the large and it's much more comfortable. I wear it over a shirt and under a coat or hoodie (Really scratchy) and it works fine. When you sit in a car it's more comfortable than a holster but the mags and gun ride up in the elastic. I have a size 38 waist and the large makes the gun and mags alittle far back for my reach but conceals them perfectly. I gave the Medium to my girlfriend to wear when she jogs. It holds a Knife, Mace, and cell phone. |
