Worn during WWII, these helmets have seen some light action, some of the suspension systems and chin straps have been replaced, and others show some wear, no choice. Grade I condition, these are original, not reproductions, and are great for re-enactments, or to add to your collection.

All Military surplus products are used, the condition of the products varies, and the quantities may be limited.
Surplus condition scale:
Grade I - Used in like new to excellent condition.
Grade II - Used in good condition, may show minor use.
Grade III - Used in fair condition, will show normal wear and tear from daily use.

I got this today, along with the Finnish gas mask. All I can say is that I'm extremely happy with both of these items. The helmet looked practically brand new, and fit like a charm. I'm planning on buying many more items from Cheaper Than Dirt, they make me very happy.

Helmets arrived in perfect condition, seemingly never issued. For this price, you're a fool not to pick up a couple at least for conversation pieces or to protect against incoming artillery shrapnel.

Next day delivery! As with the same model helmet purchased last year, this one appears unissued. I made liner adjustments (band circumference,drawstring closure, moved headband assembly deeper into the helmet) to get a great fit. Dealers specializing in Soviet/Cold War items are selling these helmets in much poorer condition for several times this price. These helmets have a history...designed during the Third Reich but never put into service by the Nazis. Buy one of these before they become sought-after and rare/expensive.
