Pressure Switch
Why pay the high price of a tactical light when you can convert your standard flashlight to a tactical light by simply replacing the end cap with this pressure switch end cap and mounting to your tactical weapon. Fits Surefire 6P Flashlights. Cheaper Than Dirt TAC206

| I have sent it back for replacement. Connection was not reliable. I guess you can call the problem "a short". Of course CTD was GREAT about it. Got an RMA No. with no problem, so shipping costs are not an issue. We will see how the replacement does. |
not for serious users, 01/05/2008 |

| I purchased this item for use on deployment while here in Iraq. Good for someone who might use it occasionaly, but i highly recommend spending the extra money for serious users. Mine arrives in great time and shape, but after use over about a week the switch started to loose its effectiveness. The switch has to be pressed in the right spot with the right pressure to get it to operate the light at full intensity, works like a dimmer switch. Another problem I noticed other users complained of with the way the pad heats up after a little continuos use. Not bad for the price, but not the best route to go. |

| I bought this remote pressure switch for a surefire 6p, to be mounted on a tactical shotgun.
The remote switch worked for about 5 minutes, but then would not come on.
I found the internal switch wire had broken, I guess by just screwing the tailcap on the flashlight. I was certainly not ruff in anything I did during the very easy installation.
Pretty fragile to be a weapon light accessory.
It's really not worth the hassle of sending it back and getting a replacement, that would probably have the same problem.
I guess you get what you pay for. Lesson learned. |
A GOOD SWITCH, 10/17/2007 |

The cable is a little long for my tastes and the enclosed velcro strips are pretty small, but combine it with a nitrolon and you have a great light. It really comes thru for those of us who can't afford a 600 dedicated weapon light. I would buy again.

| The switch is a good deal for its money. The only down fall with it is that the switch gets really hot if you hold it for more then 10 seconds. Hot enough to burn your fingers!!! I use my rifle with gloves on anyway so i really don't notice it to much. Other then that its a good deal for the money. |
