This holster fits my S&W 4506 perfectly. After a few major adjustments to the straps to fit my skinny legs and a couple of hops up and down I was very pleased. Lets just say i was jumping for joy. The price, compatibility, and the fit are outstanding!!! Do by this if you own a large frame handgun.

OK, I own two of these (ya the first one immpressed me that much!) and here is the bottom line for Springfield XD owners: Both my full size .45 Tactical and my .45 Compact fit like this was made for them *with nothing attached to the rails* straight outta the box! I can walk around all day with the heavy tactical fully loaded w/spare 13rd mag in tow and not have the straps become uncomfortable (buy a decent belt for sure though!) I have had some luck "forcing" smaller lazers into the holster without modification, but I would definetly recomend cuting the stitching out below the triger guard to make room for larger lasers or the "Springfield issue" tac light. You CAN make them fit just fine, without worring about the pistol getting snagged or being too tight, you just have to modify it a bit! There ya go..

Well after reading all of the bad reviews i finally said what the hell and ordered it... Well the quality of the actual product is good but I find, it doesn't matter how tight you make the straps they always slid down... At least with a Taurus PT1911. When I run, it pulls on my belt loosening it. I am aware that they make pants with holes for the straps to go through the leg, it should not slide and hold better with those.

I bought this looking for a cheap way to get my Ruger P89 off my waist when riding my ATV. This works perfect. The quality is 150% better then I would have imagined for the price. My P89 dropped right in perfect with out a single adjustment. It is a little hard to get everything adjusted to fit you just right but once in place it wouldn't move at all. Great buy!!! ***WARNING FOR THOSE WITH LIGHTS/LASERS*** I don't know why they make it sound like the holster it self is adjustable. Its not. The only thing for gun fit you can adjust is the thumb break. Unless you have a small frame gun with a small laser/light it will not work and even then I don't think it would work well. My P89 with no add ons fits snug as it is. I didn't need that feature so I stand by my 5/5 rating

i ordered this holster Tuesday, along with a Chip McCormick 8-shot mag. i wasn't expecting it until Friday or Saturday, but to my surprise, it was on my doorstep this morning. WOW! fast delivery. the holster is well made. yeah, the straps and adjustments are a small pain, but i have a little trick i would like to share. to adjust the thumb break strap, get a paint stirring stick and stick it down between the holster and the strap. at the same time you pull the strap to adjust it, pull the stick also. made it a h3ll of a lot easier for me to adjust it. i had a belt rig, but i wanted something more tactical to use as my duty rig, so i chose this one. the straps are solid, very little wiggle. after you get the thumb break strap adjusted, you are good to go. this weekend will my my first patrol with this new rig, and i can't wait to put it thru its paces. thanks...again, cheaper than dirt. you will be getting a lot more orders from me. officer chris kilgore, jasper, tennessee.

Well I really like this holster even though it doesn't fit my socom, even without tac light attached. I was expecting it to fit just the handgun but unfortunately it does not. My P99 and G18 fit fine, if a bit low, and snugly. The thumb break is easy to pop but I find it difficult to adjust the length of the snap because of the velcro on velcro under sewn straps. Complaints aside, this is a great holster for the price. Fits most of my guns if not all and I've run a mile with it on and no problems. So 4/5.

I bought this holster for my Sig 226 elite which also has a tac-light attached to it. When I received the holster I found it easy to adjust to my 6 foot 2 inch 200 pound frame, but the holster is too small for my Sig with my tac-light, but it does fit perfectly for my pistol without the light. That disappointed me because the reason I bought the tac-light was to have it attached to my Sig. If you are buying this holster for a larger automatic without any attachment then I would recommend this holster for the price, and it is not made for a specific gun so if you have more than one pistol then it will work well. the hammer strap is a little bit difficult to button up, so it needs a little adjustment. If you want a holster for a specific pistol I just saw in cheaper than dirts latest magazine that they have carbon fiber holsters made by Blackhawk that are not too expensive, but I am not sure if they are thigh or not.

I ordered this holster for a S&W Sigma 9mm with a laser light. When I contacted the CTD phone rep they had assured me that it would be a perfect fit. When I finally got the holster in my hands i had to modify it just to make it fit my weapon. I was extremely unsatified that the rep I spoke with when I made my order. If he was unsure, all he had to do was say so, but to say it will definitely fit with no adjustments was incorrect and left a bad tast in my mouth.

pretty good holster for 15 bucks. won't fit my gun with a light though, which sucks because thats what I wanted it for. works perfect for my old Ruger p95 without a rail though, so thats what rides in it now. the only adjustment for weapon fit is the thumb break, you can't adjust the circumferance so it was a bit loose for my single-stacked .45's (1911 and ruger p345) but it's good for thicker guns like ruger p-series. this thing is a royal bear to get adjusted but I guess thats a good thing since it probly won't come loose. if you have multiple guns you want to use this holster with (like I was) you'll probly just want to get one for each because it's so hard to adjust and they're cheap anyway.

This holster is what you pay for it. I am deployed to Iraq and am required to carry my weapon at all times. This holster never stays tight around the leg, the straps always loosen up after about an hour. The weapon slides into the bottom of the holster makes for non easy draws due to being universal and not tailored to a Beretta. If you want something cheap and ineffective get this holster. The only good thing about this holster is the mag pouch, that is it.

This is a top quality holster. I own a Ruger P345 with a lazer on the rail. I have tried loads of other holsters and have never found a good holster till now. If you have a large auto this is for you. My 45 auto is large and the lazer made it a long search for the perfect fit. This holster has been in the New Mexico mountains and into freezing snow and draged through the thick bruch and mesquite of Texas and has helded up to everthing i have thrown at it. It has more than enough adjustments to fit anyone i know and it performs wonderfully. If you want a tactical thigh holster for a gun with attachments or a rail this is one you can not beat. I really don't think you can get a better holster for the price. The quality and durability actually exceeds the appearance in the picture. I got it because I didn't like the M-26 Taser holster that my department issued, and I wanted a drop holster with a thumb break for it. But I didn't want to pay $60-$80. I fugured if it didn't fit, I would just use it for my Sig. But it fits the big M-26 very well, its a little snug, but thats a good thing. It draws and reholsters effortlessly, and with a little fabrication, the mag pouch holds an extra taser cartridge perfectly. I am Very satisfied.

Saw this, read the reviews and figured what the heck - it's only $15. Received it today, and all I can say is it's possibly the best $15 I've spent at CTD. Is it a custom rig? Of course not. But the construction is very solid (almost surprisingly so), it fits my Sig 229 securely, and I'd be confident taking it into battle any day. From a value perspective - it can't be beat. For $15, I'll be ordering another one just because.

I just got mine in the mail and put it to the test, it fits my Sig p226, glock31c and Springfield Armory 1911A1 just fine, granted each one needs some minor adjustments but the weapon stays secure, even when climbing and crouching. It fits my glock with a light but its a wee bit too snug for a Sig with a light (xyphosNT rail by blackhawk), and I dont carry a light for my 1911. The stitching isnt the greatest quality however it can be re-enforced fairly easily it appears. Certainly its not the Omega VI series from blackhawk but for the price it gets the job done. The leg straps tend to loosen when running and climbing but not severely enough to impede function. The only drop holster system Ive used that doesnt loosen in a moving environment was the SERPA from blackhawk (due to its even weight distribution). But a simple few strands of electrical tape once the tightness is set will cure alot of the loosening effect. I also combined this product with Molle-600 and though the pouches arent entirely universally molle compatible they get the intended job done. but for two drop leg systems for 30 bucks what more could one ask for

This holster is not as universal as the description would lead you to believe. It fits a full-size Glock okay, but not with a Glock tactical light. It is a little too big for a Browning Hi Power. The quality appears to be adequate, but I don't think I would trust my life to it every day. It would probably be great for Air Soft. this holster is marginally good. cheap, made in china construction. the extra mag pocket does not have long enough velcro strip to properly close on thin single-stack 1911 magazines. it may work well for the thicker double-stack 9mm and 40 mags. the leg straps are very thick and too long for my leg; the remainder is hard to tuck away. the thumb-break strap to secure the gun from slipping out is too long for a 1911. it's a pain in the rear to adjust because of the cheap construction of this holster. the standard bianchi m12 holster has much better materials, construction, and overall design than this holster. the only problem is that the m12 is not a leg drop design, and does not have a second mag pocket. i would this holster back, but it would be a waste of money for shipping. you would be better off spending more money, and getting a holster designed for your pistol. one size does not fit all in this case.

I just received my holster via Fed-Ex today. Along with CheaperThanDirt's unbelievable speed with its shipping, I also am now the proud owner of another one of their quality products. Like our good men in uniform who have reviewed before me, I can personally assure the quality of this holster. It is both rugged and comfortable to wear - I carry a customized Thompson 1911, and it fits the holster perfectly. The thumbsnap on the holster itself is easy and quick to release, and the straight draw from the holster is very smooth without any hang. The straps on the holster itself are braided with a small amount of rubber - it helps to hold it on your thigh tightly so that there's no jarring movement or slippage. The straps themselves are adjustable to any thigh size, which makes it truly universal. The material and threading of the holster are as rugged as you can possibly imagine - I don't think I'll ever wear it out. The magazine pouch on the side of the holster can support two, 8-round clips for my 1911 without issue. I cannot reccomend this item more than I already have. Great job, CheaperThanDirt!

I recently bought this tactical holster for Mil-Sim airsoft games. Once I got all the straps adjusted to fit my leg, this holster was comfortable and even while running it had very little wiggle to it. The straps were very hard to adjust because of the rubber strips running up and down them. This is a good thing because while you are running around and being rough with your holster you are assured that it won't loosen up. Everything on this holster is adjustable, even the velcro cover for the magazine pouch. My Sig P226 can fit in this holster however I'm not sure if a light unit would fit along with it (there doesn't seem to be much room after you get the pistol in there). All in all, this is a great holster, and the only thing keeping me from giving it a 5 bullets review is that there are some loose threads popping out, but its not too big of a deal.
