4.0 Rating Good but not great - 8/9/2010Lock Pick Gun with Three Picking Needles Tension Tool and Instructions4.0000

I bought this as another lock opening tool. I have used lock picks and have become very skilled, this tool is intended for the person who has not used lock picks. I can't get this tool to work for me but a friend who has never used a lock pick was able to open many locks. Good but not great, Buy only if you want a lock toy and not a tool. Great fun but not for a serious lock picking person.
2.0 Rating The TAC-117 Lock Pick Gun - 12/3/2009Lock Pick Gun with Three Picking Needles Tension Tool and Instructions2.0000

I couldn't help but indulge my new lock picking hobby as I wanted to get started with all the right stuff. Sadly, the TAC-117 Lock Pick Gun I received was quite poor similar to what "DEE" said in their review. The TAC-117 Lock Pick Gun I received doesn't look anything like what's represented in the picture which appeared to be far better quality. Furthermore as "DEE" had mentioned, it came with 3 flat picking needles opposed to the 2 flat ones and 1 offset picking needle represented in the picture. Ironically the included instructions that came with it said that there was supposed to be an offset style picking needle, but it wasn't even in the box. Additionally the tension tool included was just as "DEE" had described; it was so poorly made that it barely even fits into a keyhole. As for my own personal experience with this item, I had used it for about 15-20 minutes of continual use in my attempt to become familiar with it. Before I knew it, the screws holding the gun together began to back off and unscrew! Anyways... Even though the Lock Pick gun works in operation, the craftsmanship is very poor and most of the included items barely perform it's intended purpose. I'm sorry CTD, but you scalped me pretty bad on this one. I would have gladly paid the money on a better quality Lock Pick gun. The one here is terrible.
2.0 Rating negative surprise - 6/4/2009Lock Pick Gun with Three Picking Needles Tension Tool and Instructions2.0000

First of all, I am not so happy whit this pick gun. I is full no name, not looks like than on the picture, and they give me three one shape straight pick, and forget the offset pick. The tension wrench is a piece of junk. Very rough, thick, it does not fit into the plug. May be the gun is working, but I have to practice. I go with picks better.
5.0 Rating It works! - 12/18/2008Lock Pick Gun with Three Picking Needles Tension Tool and Instructions5.0000

I was a bit skeptical as if this actually worked. I'm a novice, and after messing around with it for about an hour I was about to give up. I watched a few youtube videos that demonstrated it, and then tried again. After some more attempts, it did work. Not as easy as it is made out to be, but I'm not skilled at it.
5.0 Rating Amazing - 9/1/2008Lock Pick Gun with Three Picking Needles Tension Tool and Instructions5.0000

I had no idea how to use this beast when I got it. The instructions helped, but YouTube was great in getting started. For me this works faster than the picks and rakes, but it's good to learn to use both in case you get locked outside on a cold night.
