Our Low Price: $39.97
List Price: $59.96
Your Savings: $19.99(33.33%)
Manufacturer: Palco
Item: SOFT-899

Use standard one pound propane bottles as a substitute for Green Gas and save money. Camping or general stores sell propane for much less than real green gas. This adaptor allows you to fill your green gas soft air gun directly from the propane bottle. Green gas has about 1% silicone for lubrication so you will occasionally have to add a drop of oil to your gun for best functioning.

The nice thing about propane is that it comes in DOT-approved containers and has a safety tracer added so you can smell the stench if your canister or magazine starts to leak. Green Gas is... Well, just don't leave it in the sun too long. You can generally expect a higher FPS rating than with conventional Green Gas, due in large part to the fact that "Green" gas is NOT Propane, but actually, R134-A coolant gas. The term "Green" comes from the fact that R134A is both environmentally safe and safe for fragile, plastic-gut guns. Green Gas is not flammable, as propane is. Green Gas also contains silicone lubricants so you don't have to add any into the fill-valve of the magazine. However, propane is dramatically cheaper, and generally improves the performance of any AirSoft gas pistol over conventional Green Gas. Do NOT use this in any Maruzen sub-machineguns, stock Tokyo-Marui pistols with plastic slides, or any gun that takes a magazine made from plastic, as you will likely damage the seals in the mechanism, maybe even blow-open the expansion chamber and destroy your gun. Highly recommended for KJW pistols, KWA/KHC pistols and sub-machineguns, and any WE product.

This is a great idea. i know what this and it will save me money. to all airsofters who dont know what it is, and even if you do, you should buy this. if you have a green gas gun or a grenade launcher you should buy it. this will save you alot of money on green gas because green gas is just a form of propane. you can go to any home depot and buy one of those giant propane bottles and you will be set for months. i will probably get this later.

Although it doesn't have a pic/ description, I know exactly what this is. It's a thing that looks like the top of a green gas container, but goes on your propane bottle! You see, after many months of research, a few "scientists" at Airsoft Innovations found out green gas is actully propane that is purified to smell better. Anyways, on to the review. This is a GREAT thing. Why? Because, it makes refilling your gas gun cheap! You see, bottles of "green gas" cost about $10 a can. At walmart, you can get a set of two propane canisters holding the same amount of gas for $4. This means that you can buy 4 green gas containers for over $40, while getting the same amount of propane for only $8 (less than one can of green gas!) You will be able to pay this adapter off in four cans of propane. The propane also seems to make my BB's propel faster in my HFC M190 gas airsoft gun (which cheaperthandirt also sells!) than with green gas. All in all, this thing is GOD-LIKE for airsoft. I totally reccomend it for ANYONE with a gas powered airsoft gun, ANYONE!!!!!!!!! - B-rad has spoken.
