As stated already, these stick in the magazine and are a problem to remove. Don't waste your money.

These things are junk. First off they are measured at just about 2 inches. Then when you load them in the mag they get stuck. Do yourself a favor... dont buy this junk.

why bother?

Got some for my girlfriend to play with in her Mossberg 500. They got stuck in the tube and I had to push them out with a rod. They are made of a cheap plastic that falls apart and they are a half inch too short. If little pieces of the plastic on these chip off, where are they going? Not worth messing up your gun just to save a couple bucks. Get the good metal burgundy "a-zoom"s and be done with it. My girfriend took the triple K's and put them the only place they belong: in the trash.

I bought 4 of these to teach my wife how to load and dry fire my Remington 870 12 ga. pump. They would not cycle at all. The rim is too thick and prevents the 870 from going into battery. After careful measurement, I figured out what was wrong and sanded down the bases which fixed the problem. However, it is ridiculous that this product should be manufactured to out of tolerance dimensions. They are also shorter than a real shell which can cause a double feed and jam. Not recommended.

I've used Triple-K snap caps in pistol caliber before and loved them. I couldn't wait to get some of the 12 gauge variety to practice loading, unloading and trigger control w/my new Beretta semi-auto tactical. Well, these 12-gauge snap caps are only 2.25 inches long, and double feed into the carrier on the Beretta & my pump gun. Also, they cause the bolt to jam into the breech of the Beretta, but chambered okay on the pump. I'll stick with the other popular brand of snap caps in 12-gauge, they are the right length and feed properly in both of my shotguns.

Good product, very light weight, sturdy. Goes through my Mossberg 500 just fine. Now I can teach my boyfriend and other love ones the basics, such as loading and unloading without a mishap. The pressured cap also makes me feel better about dry firing, as not to mess up firing pin.
