I bought this for no good reason.. GLAD I DID!! Holds 5 striper clips loaded in each pouch, can put 12 rounds of 12 gauge in each pouch ( 72 rounds ), I also put a newer clip on it instead of the old buckle that didn't work good. This is only for plinking, not SHTF or anything.

I am glad I got this while I could. A true surplus bargain you can't find anywhere else! When I got the rig, the clips to fasten things closed were plastic, but haven't broke on me yet, and they are faster than the bamboo closures. I put 4 stripper clips in each pouch, and together they hold 240 rounds! the only downside is sometimes one round will fall out of the clip, and fall to the bottom of the pouch. Like I said, I am glad I got these while I could, if you see this pouch anywhere, buy it! (unless it's more than a $Jackson)... thanks again CTD for another great bargain and keep them coming!

I just got this product in my mail today. I love CTD shipping. I paid for 7-10 day shipping on Thursday and received it on Monday. Anyway, this product is very sturdy, but it is smaller than the picture makes it look. I just bought an ak chest rig AKS-701 and I thought this would be bigger. I was going to customize the two by cutting off certain pouches and sewin on my own MOLLE straps. We'll see now though. But besides my disappointment in the size expecation, this is a good product, ESPECIALLY for only $4. No complaints.

I bought this Chest pouch last year for Halloween. It came on time and packaged well. I took my son out as a Nazi zombie. added a helmet and gas mask and I was set!!! I tried to be as accurate as possible to a German uniform. Even though it was a Chinese chest pouch, No one seemed to notice. For the price, what more could ya ask for! I packed the clip pouches with light form fitting packing and made some cheap potato mashers from the local hardware store to fit the grenade pouches.

This is one of those typical military surplus nicknacks you gotta have. Sturdy cotton and canvas material, double etched sewing, and metal buckles. 100% adjustable to all sizes. Store all your ammo in the pouches that way all you have to do is grab your rifle and this rig and your ready to shoot. As others noted, grenade pouch doesn't seem to have much use. I'm going to alter the fastings to take ak47 mags for my sks-m. Grab it for your collection.

not bad i did not care that the closing clips on the ammo pouches were plastic. but very good product for the price.

Nothing fancy and excellent for the money. Each pouch easily holds 3-10 round stripped clips. As previous posters have said, there isn't much use for the grenade pouches

this is a dandy little rig, i have to start off by saying that this is a very sturdy, well made piece. all the buckles work fine, and they hold anything you want. the only nagative side of this item, is the stick grenade section, its just kinda there, useless you acctually have, and use, stick grenades, this might not be the rig for you.

The sks chest pouch works very well and is very user friendly. I can carry up to 120 rounds of 7.62x39 ammo easily, that's three ten round stripper clips per pouch. I also like the aluminum clip on the front. Not sure what to do with the stick grenade pouch's though?.
