I love this sling, It fits and feels and looks great on my SKS and for the money you can not beat it.

Got mine in 4 days! It was sealed in wax papper bag and in perfect new condition. As previously stated, I had to trim the leather for the front sling attachment with a razor blade. After that it worked perfect! Cheaper Than Dirt Rocks!

An awesome product especially for the price. I ordered 4 for all my combat type weapons. They add that military flavor and are very well made. All were in perfect like new condition, and arrived in a wax paper packaging. You are not wasting your money on this product, it delivers exactly what it says. Shipping like always was fast! One of the benefits to CTD is the fast shipping. The leather on this product is a little stiff, and I used pliers to help get the fastners through. Great product!

This is a good product. I bought this to go on my Yugo and works well another satisfied customer.

Had I left my AK unmodified, this sling would have been a great quality item. However with a Tapco stock, and a UTG quad rail system, this sling is not the best solution. If you plan on modifying your weapon save the money, and put it towards a different sling.

Just got my package in the mail today. Very pleased with the service, and quality of the products. I bought one of these for my Norinco SKS. It came in some kind of wax paper unopened brand new looking. Will buy another for my Dad's Mosin Nagant.

Bought 2 of them... First one was excellent, under the waxy exterior was crisp, new feeling paper and a sling that looked factory fresh. The other looks to have been damaged, and sling was a waxy mess. Luck of the draw I guess, but it was functional... I put it on my beat old 870 so no harm done. I can't complain when you consider the cost and how comfortable & functional this sling is...

This is a good buy got one for my Chinese SKS. It looks very nice. I'm happy with it when I got it. It was new and sealed in a brown bag.

The sling worked great on my yugo! When slung over shoulder it rolls off shoulder real nice and into ready position. Good quality at a great price.

Got this for my AK clone. As others mentioned, mine came in parafin paper in a zip lock bag and was in excellent condition. The only reason I only gave 4 bullets was the strap is just a little wide for the front mounting ring on my AK. Tight fit but still works and I'm very happy with the condition and quality. After reading the reviews, I decided to purchase 2 of these, one for my AK 74, and one for my Tula SKS. My AK 74 came with a mildewed nasty sling that I needed to replace, and my SKS had a nice sling, but had the rattlematic metal clips which attached it to the weapon. I put Sno-Seal (leather boot waterproofing) on the leather and nuked it with a hair dryer to make it supple.(Mink oil or even vaseline will work)I had to trim the leather with a razor blade for the front sling point of my AK 74, about a 16th of an inch on either side. These are GREAT utility slings,and make the rifles look original. Softening the leather makes a HUGE difference, and will prevent the leather from cracking in the future.

Bought one, arrived new, sealed in a box as others said, put it on an AK. All I did was trim some leather from the sides of the forward piece for an excellent fit. I don't like the standard AK sling with metal to metal rattle surround sound generated by the attaching metal clips.

Mine came in a sealed, what looked like parafin-covered paper package. It looked like it'd never been used before. I put it on an ak-74 and the leather was a little hard to get through the front ring and after that, the leather was a little hard to work with, but now that it's on, I'm sure it will do fine. It looks durable.

My dad got me this sling for my SKS and CTD accidentally sent us two (we still paid for it). We put one on my SKS and fit very nicely and we tried putting the other on our Romanian AKM (Not a WASR, an original 1982 AKM) and it didn't fit. I saw my dad's brand new Ruger Mini-14 and said "lets try putting the sling on the Ruger". It fit flawlessly.

Got this sling a few weeks ago, good build, looks authentic! Only complaint I have is that the leather straps that attach to the gun are pretty hard to put on if you don't have very strong hands.

Real nice sling for the price. I had to cut down one tab to fit my AKMS but it works great. Reminds me of my Mosin sling.

I bought two of these last year. They came as billed "new unissued condition". I put one on my Remington 870 Express and am very pleased with the feel, fit, comfort and adjustability of the sling. Highly recommend for any long gun.

Received my AK-47 tactical sling which was very well packaged as if new, so I expected to see the sling in new, unissued condition. Instead, the green canvas was splotched with brown stains and the metal buckle was installed backwards and cannot be removed without cutting the sling and ruining it. Judging from the rave reviews from others who have ordered this item, I guess I just got unlucky with my order.

If you need a sling for your sks, look no further. Made of rugged cotton material, metal adjuster and rings, and leather straps. Leather straps are cut to fit the narrow sling hook on the sks. Fits my sks-m and tapco stock as well.

Very well made and secure when attached. I did some minor cutting to fit my Rom. AK.

Now I can carry my Chinese SKS in comfort. Thank you CTD. Well worth the money.

I was impressed with the packaging! wrapped with thin wax paper, and then packaged with thick wax-soaked paper with stitched seams. i loosened the holes a bit so i could easily attach it to my Russian SKS. i attached the end of the sling with the doubled loop of webbing to the barrel end, so i can put my offhand arm through the loop, grasp the fore end, and put the end of the loop on my upper arm, near the elbow, to stabilize my arm for benchrested or prone shooting.

For anyone who is wondering, this sling DOES fit the narrow Saiga factory swivels. It appears to be quite rugged, and I am well pleased with it. This is a great price for a quality sling for your Saiga and AK variants.

awesome sling! fits my WASR-10 perfectly. my kikds said it looked like an egg-roll when it showed up. heh heh (the brown wax paper container does look a bit like an egg roll. ).

I just got this in the mail and I am very pleased. CTD bring on the goods. Just as discribed and, in new un-issued condition.

Its a brand new sling in a sealed wax coated bag. Its in great condition and well worth the money. Mine was clean and pristine when I opened it. The leather is a bit stiff so it can be hard to mount on the gun but eventually it softens up.

The package was wax sealed. Fits my Nornico SKS perfect without any modifications. The Sling was in excellent unused condition. The only negative was a slight discoloration/orange staining in small spots upon closer inspection. Can't beat it for the price!

Great sling. I have a 1954 Russian Tula SKS, this fits on it great. Much better than a Russian sling. Russian slings have a metal ring, which you can hear rattling against your gun a mile away. For people who don't know how to use a sling for a gun properly, this one is great. I fully adjust to your left arm for steadying and can go over the shoulder well if carried. Would recomend this sling to anyone with a SKS, any make or model.

just purchased this sling from CTD and i loved it ever since i received it in its wax paper packaging! the canvas is dark green and the leather is stiffer than i am used to but after using a screw driver to open it up, it went on perfectly! completes the military look of my yugo M59/66 SKS! also, the shipping was fast! thanx

This sling will not fit most AK sling mounts without modification (leather way too wide). The construction, however, is solid. If you want, you can use this sling for FALs and other rifles with wide sling swivels. An OK buy considering the price.

Great Price for a wonderful product. My came still wrapped in its protective waxed paper brand new. Easy install on my AK and works perfect and has a nice look and feel to the sling. The five dollar price is a steal...im getting two more....thanks, CTD.

This is probably the best sling I have got off this site yet. For $5, you can't go wrong. Mine was new and in factory package. GREAT BUY!

For five bucks this just can't be beat. The sling is very tough and the leather ends mean there's no metal clanking on your rifle. Very tough sling that I would trust under any conditions. I bought several.

Brand new sling arrived. leather was perfect and the rivets are flawless. A little flexing is needed to work out the rigor mortis of the leather, but thats no biggie. Great Deal!!!!!

this is the only sling for your AK. Why would you use any thing with a metal snap on it that would make noise or dig into your back while carrying it. I use one on my AR-15 too. buy a couple to save on shipping, you will wish you had later. 5 dollars!

The sling I recieved doesnt look quite like the one in the picture but close. the leather wasnt different colors like some others say they got, but i excpected something that looked a little more legit. overall though im glad i got it, it does complete the look and functions well

Bought one for my Norinco SKS and I love it! It's easy to install, works well, and looks military! I took one star away just because the leather on each end was different colors. It's no biggy though! I'd buy again if I needed another!

I couldn't find a sling that looked right on my Yugo SKS until I ordered this. Looks perfect, and I was surprised by the high quality. It would be a bargain if it cost TWICE as much as CTD is offering it for.

I bought this product for my Norinco SKS. I use this gun for Coyote hunting and needed a sling but didn't want to lose it's military look. The sling fits perfect and didn't need filed or cut like any of the other reviews. The leather just needed worked in a little bit it was stiff from storage at the warehouse. Overall perfect product.

Works and fits like it should on a Yugo SKS

The straps of the sling were very different from each other.Color dont match and one was strap was ticker than the othen.Had to use my dremmel tool to sand off some leather.I guess I coulnt expect much based on price.The sling looks and works good.
