Military surplus

Military surplus does come without numbers if whoever made it doesn't want anyone to know where it came from. These are M21 export parts, un-numbered.. excellent fit on my Chinese security forces model, minimal work required.

Good, Needs Dremmeling

This is NOT MILITARY SURPLUS!! (perhaps some aftermarket make, unless surplus stocks had no serial #...unlikely) Very nice stock, soft wood, mine came in brand new condition with a very minor nick or two. Definitely the nicest stock available for your SKS. The stock didnt fit on my Norinco Paratrooper, or my Norinco standard SKS. You need to shave down the nose of the fore-end slightly, the slot at the very back where the trigger group slides in, and the upper handgaurd on the front and back. Its a very simple job, common sense, patience and a dremmel and your done in bout a half hour to an hour. Paratroopers looking tough with cheaper than dirts set screw in muzzle break and 20rd chinese star box.

I bought this for my neighbor's sks, we spent 4 hours fixing the stock nothing was where it was supposed to be. If you are just buying this for the hope of additional accessories they are worth the price but the stock is a poorly done remake using original hardware so expect to be taking a lot of time working on it.

risky deal

I ordered this as a gift for my boyfriend for Christmas and we were both highly disappointed with it. The only thing we received in the kit was the stock...none of the other parts were there. While the stock was great shape, I have so far been very frustrated in our attempt to retrieve the missing parts that were listed on our invoice.

I have bought a lot of different repair kits for my collection of SKS rifles and let me tell you this, The kit I bought from this web site was the best deal I found yet, The stock was in great condition and all of the parts did mount in the weapon with no problems. The only thing that was missing was the extractor spring the bolt and the firing pin housing was in new condition, I will be placing more orders for this product in the near future for spare parts when needed. The wood was in decent condition, with minor dings. I have not decided to use it on any of my SKSs, but just having replacements for the just in case scenario seemed like a good idea. The bolt carrier was impresive, it revamped the look of my Norinco. It was nice and clean. I have not had the need for any of the other parts, but you better bet your bottom dollar it is a wise decision to keep the replacement essential parts handy in your field gear. All in all it is worth $50 to have all the replacements at hand. Plus you can build your own SKS cheaper than retail using this kit....but this is obviously not a complete parts kit..but useful in many ways never the less.
