Purchased this unit for my Yugo M24/47. Mounting was easy as pie. I did use thread lock on the screws to make sure it didnt come loose. Use weaver "grand slam" rings and bushnell Trophy 2-6x32 handgun scope. Easily get 100 yard groups I can lay a quarter on. Nice unit, nice workmanship with no slop or wiggling loose.

This is a rock solid mount that will fit the 24/47 and the 48 yugo mauser. I've tried some other "cheap" scout scope mounts but they don't hold zero very well. This is a well made product and certainly worth the money.

Very solid mount, but as the title states, it sits very high. The weaver rail sits almost an inch above where the rear sight would be. Otherwise, the quality is fantastic and it is the most stable "scout" style no-gunsmith mount I've used so far.
