| I ordered this stock because of its "drop in assembly" I have a 580 series mini 14 brand new in the box try as i may i could not make it fit I wasted an hour and a half on the project before returning the stock for a refund. |

| This stock is great. It took me about 20 minutes to remove the barreled action and sheet metal from my Ruger stock and get it all put in the Butler Creek Stock. Nice Solid locking device in open and closed position. Comfortable Pistol Grip and Pistol Grip has storage location in bottom that is perfect for my allen wrenches I use to adjust my laser sight and keep the scope rings snug, I also keep a lens cloth in it for my scope. Love this stock and looking to put the one on my 10/22 as well. |

Recently recieved one of these stocks to replace the wood stock on my ranch model ruger mini-14. The change over was very easy to do and makes the mini-14 a much more practical weapon for my law enforcement duties.
I highly recommend this for you mini-14 owners that want something a little more compact.
