I didn't realize when I bought it that my options were limited for placement on my Mossberg 500. With ut getting a smaller pump grip, I put it at the end of the barrel and its a snug fit, no movement at all, but it covers the sling attachment at the end of the choke, so order a detachable one while your here.

Great tri-rail, I have one on my Mossberg 500. Super solid, well built and versatile too. You can either clamp one end on your magazine and the other to a tac light or you can set it up to clamp the barrel and magazine together. Holes on the side accept sling swivels too. Also, try out thier tri-rails for rifles, same great quality.

I am using this on a Mossberg 500 to hold a light. It really moves around quite a bit but I solved the issue by cutting back my heat shield reinforcement and backing it up against that but it still moves a bit. UTG needs to find a better way to make this thing stay put.

Mounted on Remington 870 20g. Mounting on 20g will require a shim of some sort as the barrel is so much smaller. I used 2" wide electical tape for now until I can find a piece of 1/8" rubber. This mount is huge on the end of my barrel. I put my Surfire 6PX in the bottom hole fit was very good but the bezel is in front of the muzzle. I will likely not leave it that way. As soon as I get in my magazine extention tube, I will mount this as a clamp and put the flashlight in a light mount on the picatinny rail.

Used the mount to add a streamlight TLR-1 for home defense on my Tristar Cobra Pump 12 gauge. Add some lock tight to the screws and it doesn't move under magnum recoil. Great addition to any shotgun.
