| Works great mounted it on a Remington 870 adds a goo tactical function to the gun. Yet i would suggest a recoil pad after about 100 rounds your shoulder begins to fell it. |

| Unless you like having 12 Ga Recoil sent straight into your shoulder via a hard nylon buttstock that's 1x4 3/4", then this is not for you. Very clear instructions on installation, but you will need a 3/32 and 3/16" hex bit to install the buttstock. I used a pair of needle nose pliers spread open to turn the fore-end retaining nut on my 870. It looks nice installed on the shotgun, but unless you can find a decent recoil pad to place on the buttstock, it's gonna bite. Unless you're into pain. By all means. It could use a little sanding along the seam lines, I used a knife and scraped them smooth. The pictures make it look like there's a recoil pad, but that's the way they formed the nylon. |
