I haven't shot my gun with it installed but in cycles flawlessly. Looks great with the top folding stock. I really don't think a lot of people pay attention to or read the instructions. It took me a little while messing with it to get the right fit. ATI could get a little more detailed in the instructions, and maybe include a medium sized front spacer to fit different barrel lengths but other than that its good. Final conclusion........READ THE INSTRUCTIONS from your shotgun as well as the ATI instructions so you are familiar with how your guns operates and is disassembled.

I made sure I had installed everything correctly (x3), and it still failed at the range the first time I took it. The spacers did not lock together solidly with the grip and turning the foregrip retaining nut much beyond finger tight caused the spacers to distort which allowed the grip to rotate to the left or right. I see one person got lucky, but notice how many of us didn't. The Tacstar grip is much better.

So i bought this product for my Mossberg 500 and I cannot comment as to how good this product is since the new Mossberg 500's have the O-Ring for the forend welded shut instead of simply being screwed on, be warned if you have a Mossberg 500 make sure you will actually be able to use this product before you buy it...I wish I had

This forend grip is not what I imagined. It also comes with a bunch of cheap cheap cheap plastic spacers, which makes it look awful up close. In the end, it's just not worth it.

I don't know about other reviewers, but this fits my mossberg 500A forend perfectly with no wobble. Perhaps they didn't tighten the locking ring tight enough, or maybe they used the wrong adapters. either way, I love mine and it looks great with ATI's rear pistol grip.

This grip does not fit Newer model Mossbergs. I really would have like to have known that before i bought this product.They should make a note of this on the description.

I agree this product is hit or miss I have tried everything to get it to fit my plain Jane Remington 870 and the forend handle swivels 90 degrees in both directions. the locking notch in the frond and rear adapters just don't fit well enough to hold it in place. I've built Chevys and VW from the ground up; this should not be rocket science to do and should be an improvement from stock not - a risk. I'll simply take it back and try something else or maybe bring my assembly up to CTD and try another one.

You guys must not have installed this correctly, RE-READ the instructions. This fit perfect on my Remington 870 Wingmaster. There is NO side to side wobble at ALL! This is top quality no doubt, I am very impressed. ATI is great.

I put this grip on my mossberg 500. I should've read the reviews. My grip too slid from side to side. Secondly and even worse the adapters that hold it on drug againts the barrel so hard it made it almost impossible to cock. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!

If you just want to get a forend grip to see if you like the concept - go ahead and get this. It's decent plastic but that's all you can hope for. Fit is loose, grip angle is completely unnatural - overall, there's plenty of things to better spend your money on. There's MANY things on CheaperThanDirt that you can get a great product at what feels like too good of a deal but this ain't one of them. Oh well, $20 lesson - at least nobody's gonna eat me.

Well what do you expect for 20 bux, it is cheap and not worth the effort it takes to put on. It is uncomfortable to shoot with, the angle is all wrong. I do like pistol grips they seem to be more natural in the hand but this is all wrong. Guess I keep looking.. I hope this helps one of you guys out there, I should have listened to the guy who wrote the first review..

Well, i bought this item and was kinda pleased. It was easy to install and cool as hell on your gun, but the directions were crummy and the forgrip moves left and right every time you shoot it, it aint tight on the forend tube. But it works and feels good, not for shooting fast because when it moves back and forth you have to adjust it to bestrait on the gun or it wont pump back.
