This is a great product, I love it, you only want to put 1 of them on because it will get in the way of you're cheek on both sides. I put it on the right side, my dad shoots lefty so he finds it annoying, but it works for me!

This was a nice added accessory to my 870, easy installation, looks great, I'm satisfied.

I can say this thing is a time saver. No more fumbling in your pockets for loose shells. If you are a right handed shooter you need to mount to right side of your gun. Left handed, left side, this is due to the mount blocking the cheek rest on that side of the gun. Right handed shooter places cheek on the left side of the gun, so this need to mount to the right side. Not sure of some of the negative reviews for this nice mount. One guy says the shells were loose and they could fall out. It comes in several pieces including screws with little instructions. If you are mechanically inclined you can figure it out pretty easy. Maybe he had mounted it wrong, not sure. It seems rock solid to me, holds my shells very tight and they don't fall out. They don't come out unless you want them to.

Received it today and installed it in like 2 minutes. Super simple to install. I read the previous problems with overtightening and stripping the plastic ATI adjustable stock, so that may be what kept me from doing so. I had planned on putting it on the left side but when you do so you cant get a close cheek weld to look down the scope. Looks like I will have to put it on the right side - ok though, because it will compensate for the 6 shot side saddle I installed too. Product is pretty good and I would recommend.

4 bullets because when i attached it to my ATI 6 position stock it negatively affected the function of the stock. there wasn't enough clearance betweet the shell holder and the button on the stock that lets you adjust the lenght of the stock. to solve this i had to shave away the plastic which wasn't that hard to do. overall it's a great addition to any tactical shotgun application

It is everything as expected--a 5 shell holder that fits nicely on the ATI stock. With shells loaded in it, it doesn't affect your cheak position. The added weight of 5 shells is neglible because the gun is still barrel side heavy so any weight to balance the gun actually makes it feel "lighter" because of less torque on the pistol grip.

I bought this and the ATI coll stock for my mossberg maverick 88 (6 shot). This mount is solid it comes with 6 screws use them all even though 4 might seem ok. I've shot about 100 rounds with it always holding 5 Super X slugs. Its pretty solid to me just don't over tighten it or you might crack the screw hole. The shell holder is a hard rubber and any type of 12ga shell fits very snug.

Installs easily and the mounting plate is solid. The actual shell holder is chewy and 12 gauge shells can be easily pulled through the gaps from the holder sideways. I can foresee loosing shells in the jeep or from the gun's recoil. There is also no real stopping point for the shell and they slide past the base and cartridge's rim...I'm not impressed. Oh. A bit too much torque and the screws that fasten the holder to the mounting plate will pull themselves right through the holder. Good thing the plastic just bent out of the way and resumed its normal shape. I never like screws that don't feel tight. Its still on the weapon because it does hold the shells and I don't feel like reverse engineering a TacStar side saddle (which is Very high quality) to do the same thing.

Bought this item for my Remington 870, installation was easy and it worked out great as my home defense weapon. Took it to the range and I swear on the first 5 rounds of rifled slugs I fired it shattered off of the screws and onto the ground. The mount stayed true to the stock, but the holder did not. If that was in a real world tactical environment I'd be a dead man. It seemed sturdy enough, but apparently it just couldn't handle the stresses. But at $20, I guess that's what ya get.

Put this on the ATI 6-position colapsible stock I mounted on my Mossberg 500A. It went on in a total of 2 minutes. It fits solid and tight and looks good. I then took my mossy to test fire with heavy dove, 00 buckshot and slugs. All through the firing the shells stayed in the holders and didn't budge. When I reached for the shells they came out with no fuss at all. This was a great buy and I am very pleased with it.

Great product! Took 2 minutes to install. The slots definitely hold shells IN PLACE. Plus, yes it looks really cool on the 870.

This this is great, it goes on easy and looks/feels great. The slots are a little tight at first but I'm sure they'll loosen up over time.

I was getting this for my FN shotgun however it didnt fit so I swap it with my AR-15 bushmater and it works great and used my AR-15 stock for my FN great trade off... Thanks

I replaced my Butt Stock with Item No. SHT-009 this 5 shot holder worked perfect on it. It was easy to install and looks great. I am right handed and it looks great fits on either side you like. Just purchased it and it is a little tight for the shells right now but I am sure it will loosen up quickly. If it is too tight it shows you where you can carefully cut it to loosen it up sooner. I will play it by year.

Installation easy, shells fit perfectly and slide out easily. Perfect for a lefty like me, and it looks cool!!!! Must buy this if you bought the Shotforce butt stock, it won't look cool without it!
