Very easy to install in about 15 seconds from the barrel end. Gave it a good tryout at the range with my Remington 870 on my shotgun bowling league. Easy to snatch a round from the cuff to drop in the chamber, other rounds hold secure. A great add on for home defense to double the number of rounds you have when you grab your gun. BTW - I'm right handed, but if you're a leftie, this one is made for the right side of the gun.

another review said that it doesn't fit because it doesn't stretch much. i had the same problem till i realized all that u have to do is hold the elastic strap out of the way and slide it over the barrel and gun backwards. Then simply stretch the elastic around the stock.

Don't waste your money, even $5. Unit doesn't stretch, will not fit over the butt of the shotgun. You would have to take the stock off to get it on, I am not going to waste my time with it. Unit is much too tight to stretch over stock. Would send back for refund, but not worth it.

Works great. Holds the shells tight and fits well on the gun. For $5 its well worth it. I just tacked it onto an order I was already placing and the shipping stayed the same.
SHT-005 Shotgun Butt Cuff Ammo Holder, 10/19/2007 |
Reviewer: Grandpa Ron
This is not only a nice, but necessary item, for it is easy to use, and one does not have to search pockets for their next reload. I have it on all my shotguns and would like to put it on my rifles, if only CTD would apply pressure on ACE to manufacture them for our rifles. I suppose that one could stretch the elastic, with a form, then sew a line down the center of it, and reduce the size of the holder from shotgun size shells, to those with which he hunt. Good idea guys, run with it. Also try the Bandoleer, but only load every other loop, unless you lift weights and enjoy the workout. They hold about two boxes of shells, but I came to hunt, or shoot skeet and not to wage war! One box is adequate!

I used these to hold five rounds of ammo right on shotgun stock, easy to reach and reload your gun quickly. We carry our buckshot in these so we can reload for deer hunting in heavy cover.
