Very Pleased

I bought one of these to put on my pellet gun to make picking off mice in the chicken house easier. Then I put one on my 22 for sniping larger pests. Then I got all screwed up and put one on my AR15. The laser was constantly coming out of adjustment so I went to see my gunsmith, he told me that this laser was simply not designed to handle the bumps it gets riding along in my pickup, nor the recoil when I'm at full rock and roll, but he had another for about $35 which did splendidly. He mounted the cheap laser on my wifes Mini-14 because she almost never uses it, and she treats it with kidd gloves when she does.
I have mounted my 4th of these inexpensive lasers on my duty weapon (A Taurus 24/7 Pro in 45ACP). I am faster on the range now, since target acquisition is instant I can use my other two or three brain-cells to do threat evaluation. I am also grouping within 4 inches at 50 yards, so I no longer am even concerned about qualifying. I carry the Taurus in a shoulder rig (I'm a detective) and it stays spot on, I may make a fine adjustment every few months, but I'm very pleased with the cheap laser.
Also I don't have any problem seeing the aim-point in daylight out to about 30 yards or so. Since the laser mounts under the barrel my other sighting system is there to verify the laser is aimed correctly.
About the only use my work piece sees is at the range or if I have to have it out J.I.C.(you never know what might happen when you knock on a door), so far in 30 years of this line of work I've never had to shoot anyone. When I was a patrolman I carried a 357 magnum revolver on a belt holster, but everybody went to calling me cowboy after they all started buying Glocks.
I still have my but it don't go to work anymore, I do strap it on when I use my horse (Search and rescue, or parades, or just out for a ride)....I'll be dipped...that old revolver IS a cowboy gun, but it'll never get laser equipped, that would seem like blasphemy
