Bought this on Wed got it on Saturday. 10 min. to instal on a 18 1/2 inch barreled Ithica modle 37. mounted it up against the front sight. I have ghost ring sights on this. The gunsmith that put the sights on put the biggest base ramp front I have ever seen on. So room was a issue for me. I centered a light bought with this mount Light-149. The mount works and holds.

I got this so I could put a flashlight on my Maverick 88, and recently I finally had the chance to test it. I shot 10 rounds of buckshot/slugs through it, and it didn't budge at all. Much better than the ATI clamp for mounting a flashlight, doesn't leave a bunch of un-used rail, and not very expensive either.
