 good light, 01/26/2008
Reviewer: Hobbs NM
Mounted light on an ar15 handguard. It was much smaller than expected which turned out to be a good thing. The light is solid and bright. I'm a bit of a cluts and dropped it (a few times ) prior to mounting, the light never skipped a beat. The mounting is strong, but one of the mounting screws stripped. The allen head stripped when I tried to remove it to adjust. Overall not bad.

This product is very poor. This is to be expected for the money. I thought I would try to low-ball it. The product arrived in the mail and I assembled , and tried to function check it, only to discover it rarely turns on. Flipping the switch usually produces no effect, smacking the light a few times will sometimes make it turn on, once the switch is already flipped. This is obviously impractical in a defense situation. I suggest doing some research and buying a higher end light.
Mixed feelings about this one., 01/05/2008

Well I've had this light for just over 30 days and now its dead. I had it attached to my Taurus PT1911AR and the first time I fired the gun with this light on there (about 36 rounds) it started to flicker but that was because the front of the light started to come unscrewed, simple fix. I then took the gun back out and fired about 40-50 rounds through it with the light attached and now the light won't work at all. Whats worse is that it went out a DAY after I could have gotten an RMA. I purchased it on the 12/1/07 and it died on 1/2/08. Just my luck I guess. I give it two bullets because it certainly was a nice light while it worked and I can't help but wonder how long it would have lasted on something like a 9mm instead of the .45 I was shooting it with. I'm not quite sure what broke on the light because there is no sign of wear and it wasn't abused. Guess it was just a cheap light. Next time I'll get something a little better.
 Recoil is Bad, 09/08/2007

First of all the light did fit on my H&K 45ACP USP and it was bright, but after 2 shots or so the light failed to work unless you beat on it. It cannot handle the recoil of a 45acp so if you own a little gun like a 9mm you might be fine.

The tactical light is a very good value for the price. The light does have good power. However, if you own a S&W Sigma 9mm, be prepared to buy an adapter.
 BRIGHT!, 06/30/2007
Reviewer: Mike
This light is bright! I am not sure about the actual lumens, but it will do the job when the time comes for it to do it's job. It is bright enough to temporarily blind someone. The only complaint I have is that it attaches with an allen wrench, and not thumb screws. I purchased the light for my Sigma and knew that it wasn't going to be an easy off application, so this is acceptable. The weight is not all that bad either. I would recommend this light to anyone on a budget or anyone looking for a great deal!!

Alright, for 30 dollars I was kind of skeptical, I guess as we all are about things we buy online. I got this light, put it on my gun in a matter of minutes (i'm not too....electronically inclined) And presto! I was looking at the end waiting for the light to come on as I checked for the on switch, was blinded pretty good by it too! I know, "what an idiot, got blinded by his own gun light" well, true, these things happen. Great light, if I ever need it for an on the night job (or just lookin for Coyotes) I'm sure to have a fine shot thanks to the light...that cost 30 dollars.

Perfect fit for my Glock 21. This light is bright and could really throw someone off in the middle of the night. Even during the day, it is hard to see the person holding the light. This is a sweet deal for under $30. I've only had it in my hands for 4 days now, so I cannot comment on the battery life yet.
