I agree with what most have said. An on/off switch would make it easier, but I just reversed the batteries to store them without issue. Best to have some extra batteries on hand. Would be nice to have a pouch on the carrying case to put extra batteries. Regardless, it's a good purchase.

This needs an on/off switch. It would also have been nice if CTD could have given us more batteries. This thing sucks the life out of these 2 batteries fast!

This was a great little product. The batteries seemed fine and i was able to zero my scope in pretty quickly without wasteing expensive ammo.

while it won't dial your scope in exactly it gets you mighty close. it is perfect for getting a rough dial after putting your scope on. it dials in exactly as far as side to side, but cannot compensate for bullet drop. put the batteries in backwards for storage

Product worked very well however the batteries provided lasted only 30 min. I wish the provided pouch had a place to keep spare batteries. It also needs an on/off switch.

Awesome product, saved alot of time and bullets. Only downside was the batteries that came with the laser died after only a few minutes of use so you might want to get buy a few extra.

I bought one of these for my DPMS AR-15 carbine. This bore sight is easy to use and does exactly what it is supposed to do. However, you are pretty much limited to 25 yards in the daylight. Nevertheless, with the cost of ammo, its a smart buy. I dialed my laser sight right in and saved a bunch of ammo. The pouch it comes in a nice, but it would be better if there was a pocket for the small batteries, which have to be removed to turn the unit off. Great item.

I bought two of these, one for my 223 AR's, one for my 9mm carbine. They do exactly what they are advertised to do, namely zeroing in for your sights/mounted lasers. I have two minor concerns - (1) the batteries are tiny and hard for us big guys to handle with our big clumsy fingers, and (2) there doesn't seem to be an on/off switch on the item itself, so once the batteries are in and the cap screwed on the laser is also on. To turn off the laser you have to take the batteries back out and put them back in their tiny box compartment. Therefore, I would not reccomend using these bore sights out in the field unless you are extremely nimble with your fingers.

Bought one of these to check my AR when switching from my day optic to my night optic. Seems to work great from what I can see so far.
