The airgunner guy seems to have some bad luck with the scope as I had mention in my first review. I'm on my 3rd scope. Like i said my 1st scoped did not zero either but it was changed and the 2nd scope held its zero but lost illumination of R/G and it only lost zero do to my over adjusting of the elevation nobs. My 3rd scope is perfect as can be and it holds its zero very true ( now that im not over adjusting it any more). And here is an example of how good of a scope this thing really is. I was shooting my gun one day and left it standing on the bench on its bipod and went inside for something. before i can make it to the door i watched the gun drop off the bench in horror, falling about 3 and half feet,scope first right onto solid concrete("OMG" i could have killed my self). I thought the scope was done for and i was really pissed at my self for being so stupid. So i ran like hell to get my gun and check every thing out and it was all perfect except for a scuff mark on one of the adjustment nobs that it fell on and it lost the red illumination but the green still works perfect to this day. And to my suprise the gun held its zero through all of that. Not bad for a gun that weighs 9 pounds with scope and bipod hitting solid concrete from 3 1/2 drop dead center on the top of the scope. Lets see another brand scope do that without loosing zero and not breaking. I still have the exact same scope for over a year and a half and its still working like new minus the little scuff on the top adjustment nob and the lack of red illumination (as i said before i dont really use the illuminations anyways but its nice one of them still works just incase). So for the price vs build quility it can't be beat in my book. Once in a while everyone gets a lemon no matter the brand, product or company so don't let one bad lemon ruin the bunch. If you still don't like it after trying it well its under 100 buck anyways. You would pay twice as much for half this scope from many other brands, so give Leapers scopes a shot and if they work for you then you save your self a few extra hundred buck and if not, it does not hurt to try you have nothing to loose but plenty to gain.

I purchased this scope based on the specifications on the scope and the initial review rating of 5 bullets. I put this scope on a precharged pneumatic .22 caliber airgun which does not have any of the recoil of the large spring airguns that I own. At first it kept a reasonable zero but then it consistenty would not keep a zero point. I have since put a 6X18-40mm Simmons scope on this gun and the zero point does not change even with large windage adjustments. A week ago I purchased another scope( Simmon 6X24X44mm SF with Mil Dot) as I wanted more magnification and a slightly larger objective lense. My point is how can a scope that repeatedly does not hold a zero and loses illumination be rated a 5 bullet score and this is on an air rifle with no recoil. I would not recommend this scope to any airgunner and suggest that they spend a little more money and get a Simmons or Bushnell Trophy 6X18-40mm as I have 3 of them and they work fine even with large windage changes. Basically I had to learn again the lesson that you get what you pay for in life!!

i love this thing and for the price you cant beat it.ive seen this same scope selling well over 100+ dollars.my only problem with this scope is that the illumanation never last a longe time for me :(.the green is always the first to go then the red either goes on never turns off even if you put it on the green setting.this is my 3rd exchanged for this scope in the last 2 months. i gave it a five because i never really use the illumanation any ways more of a cool feature to have unless you do alot of early or late shooting.my first scope i was unable to zero it in and the 2nd scope lost zero after 2 weeks of shooting.it could have been my fault as i found out that these scopes dont like to have large wind elevation adjustments as it causes zero to be moved,so dont make very large adjustments and you should be just fine.keep in mind that this rule applies to all scopes not just this one.looking to get the 8-32x56 leapers scope very soon :)
