Like Jeff said before me it is lighter in color than it looks. For my purpose thats fine, but the color green they chose for the rope is very bright and will catch your eye if you are pretty close to it. From about 10' away it isn't as noticeable. I think they should have used a duller green color, but thats my opinion. This cord is also very strong, and you must melt the ends w/ a lighter or matches or else it will fray (common sense).
I am using this cord for camping and tying items onto my frame pack.
This is a good buy.

This cord is a bit lighter in color than I had thought it would be, however it appears to be good quality. I plan on using it for everything from boot laces to lean-tos. Be sure to melt the ends after cutting to stop fraying.
