| Installed the first time, and it worked fine. Removed it and re-installed it the second time, and discovered that it was a peice of junk.
On the threaded side of the adapter, you would think that they would just drill/tap the actual peice of aluminum, right? Instead, they thread a small sleeve, and glue it into a hole.
The paper thin (i'm not making this up, it's literally paper thin) washer that is supposed to resist all the lateral tension of the set screw tightening broke off completley and the sleve just pulled right on out of the hole.
I just don't understand why they would go throguh the extra step of making a threaded sleve when they could just thread the aluminum block itself.
Overall, not meant to last at all. |
