The ribbed face provides control and the pad simply slides over your stock of most rifles, shotguns, or muzzleloaders. Measures 5.25" long, and 1.75" wide.

Purchased a large recoil pad for an I&J 16 gauge. It was too large so I tried it on my wife's 20g mdl 870. It was too large for it also, but when I was removing it from the butt it tore the entire width of the stretch material. I'm going to order a smaller one for the 16 gauge, but I will be very careful when installing it.
