I just got mine today. It seems to be well stitched and of good quality ballistic nylon, but the extra pouches are way too small. I'm carrying a Browning Buck Mark 4" and that fits well enough - it can even carry my Tactical Solutions Trail Lite compensator, in a deformed sort of way - but it can't carry the thin little Buck Mark ten-round magazines in the side pouches. It's a shame, because the pouches are also too small to carry almost any other useful item, except a pocket knife or something. I'm tempted to send it back, but since I can cram two mags into the front zippered area I guess I'll keep it.

very discreet pouch!

i actually bought 2 of these and so was surprised at how comfortable these fanny packs are. this pack is well engineered by its creator john benner. the only drawback i could think of is the position of the magazine loops which would come contact with the pistol and hence would marr the same. well i carry my spare mag in the cellphone holder to solve it. as to its discreetness, nobody noticed i was packing back home and was able to get through mall and mass transport security without being made; of course i have a permit to carry my firearm and used to declare the same whenever i carry IWB; it is not necessary to do so with this fanny pack, truly a novel product that another company created there own line, which is more or less patterned after this one but had actually improved it by adding their own twist to the design.

I've only had this a few weeks, but the first time I used it, I was impressed, and continue to be so.

Really does the job

I've used this in place of an ankle holster and to carry my large frame 45 and it works very well well. Engineered for the application and when I work as a body guard to off set the presence of a firearm.

Good pack

This is a very good Pack. The side pouches hold my cell phone and garage opener. This is handy because I ride motorcycles most of the time. Very well made. Carried every day for over a year. I am getting a new one now because this one is worn. Some on the interior rubberized backing on the canvas is coming off but no rips or seams coming apart. I used the key holder from a backpack and slipped the ring on the key holder through the tab on the inside of the weapon compartment leaving the plastic clip hanging on the outside. That makes this pack very fast and it looks like part of the pack.

Finally...a FINE Fanny Pack!

I never liked handgun Fanny Packs. Too many extra doo-dads, with too little concern for effective handgun presentation. The Ka-Bar TDI Fanny Pack is different. I looked it over for several minutes before realizing how/why it works! There "CAN'T BE" enough room in there to carry a full-sized pistol. But there certainly is! Buy one & discover for yourself why it may well be the best $30 CCW accessory ever. Mine's loaded with a GLOCK G19, but I'm gonna' buy ANOTHER one...for my custom Browning Hi-Power. It's THAT good.

I am here to buy another one of these. My first one, after a year of use is developing a tear in the magazine pocket. THis IS BY FAR the best pack out there. I have tried them all, I have carried everything from a G19 down to a Khar PM9. The great thing about this one is that it is as small as it can be and still enable you to carry all of your essentials. A gun, a spare Mag, Wallet, Cellphone, keys. (You will need a small folding wallet if you are going to carry a big gun in this) Personally I carried a fanny pack for years before I ever carried a gun and I never thought people with packs are carrying. That is a myth, none the less this pack is nice and flat. Great product.

I bought this so I could carry my gun when I go running. The elastic straps hold the gun securely and the exterior pockets are great for holding my cell phone and a speed loader. The pocket on the outside of the flap does its job of carrying my badge and ID. The belt keepers are a good idea if you plan to were the holster hiking or something and would be wearing a belt, otherwise they seem to get in the way. The wide straps and the extended pouch one either side of the holster make it very comfortable even with a heavy gun. The zipper system is standard and not really similar to other fanny pack holsters, however I tied a bit of 550 cord to one and it opens easily enough. For the price your not going to find anything better. Thanks to Cheaper Than Dirt for fast delivery and good prices.
