This pack is the best value I've ever found. It's been on my back for literally thousands of miles by now. I've taken it spelunking and gotten it covered in cave mud, crawled through thickets without the fabric snagging, and rolled it up and jammed it in a crack in the bottom of a multi day pack. It has never missed a beat. The only modification I've made is I've replaced the zipper pulls (when they got ripped off) and I've taped the inside of the shoulder straps so they don't chafe my neck when I break into a jog. It's been right at my side nearly everywhere I've been. My favorite thing about it has to be the zippers... They are bulletproof! Many times the zipper has separated behind the pull, and all you have to do is force it back on itself to the start and it'll fix itself. I actually hardly ever use a hydration bladder with it, I usually put a paperback in the thin hydration pocket. Anyway, EXCELLENT pack. With a price like this, don't even think about it, just buy it. Buy it now. You'll never regret it. 4 bullets cuz nothing is perfect.

Well i bought this bag for some light hyking and as a range bag, Well i have used it as a patrol back pack, on camping trips on the fireing line and as a grab bag. I love this thing add a single molle pouch o nthe out side and stores my food ,first aid kit, extra ammo, and with some light clothing. It gets wet, it gets dirty but still keeps all the items clean on the inside. Good gear, good price, good delivery, just plain good item!!!

Love it!

I love this bag! I've been a backpack person for years...no cheezy purse for this chick! I added the gadget bag which makes this pack the perfect size, fits all the gear I carry around every day. I'm a rabid geocacher and needed the hydration system which is why I chose this particular pack. Contrary to popular belief, there is a velcro strap inside the holding area so you can secure the bladder from the top and it won't slide around. The seams and zippers are all very heavy duty and I expect to carry this pack on a daily basis for years to come. Thanks CTD for another great product at a great price!

I was looking at all the packs in the catalog and found this guy, I need it for paintball, hunting, snowboarding, so I think it will work out, for paintball I have a large, tactical vest that prevented me from buying a few packs because they were too big. I carry 6-140 rd pods on my back so this presents a problem for me because most packs sit low on my back, im going to get this, the Survival pouch to put on the back, then the utility pouch to put on the back of that for extra storage (if you are going to buy the EMT pouch, just get the Survival one, same price and u get more stuff w/ it. This looks like a great buy.

Do not listen to that first review the bladder does leak but its only because the male at the bottom of the bag is not fully screwed in t the female at the bottom other than that its perfect.

so i do like this pack, and am somewhat satisfied with my purchase. its not worth the price. it is very small, and very ackward. when it says 17x9, they really mean like 16x8 or so. the shape is wierd. the side is much wider towards the top than the bottom... id say the top is like 5 inches and the bottom like 2... wierd. the belt is cheap, and the chest strap is small. its a nice small pack. a little too small for me, but i can deal

I bought this pack along with the emt, gadget, and flag pouch. I love it! The pouches are great for flashlight, gps etc to organize. I showed it to friend and he bought the same set up! We have been using it mainly for BSA events and it works great. I'm going to purchase one for my son! For the price it can't be beat. I'm using a different brand bladder but my friend has yet to experience any problems with the one supplied.Great all around day pack to carry the essentials like rain gear etc.

I purchased this pack a while ago. The actual pack is great, lots of storage capacity, love it. The bladder however is a useless, leak riddled, peice of garbage!!! Don't try to compensate like I did and buy the replacement bladder. The mouth peice is better on the replacement but the bladder itself is CRAP. I ride a mountian bike and carry alot of parts , supplies, and a firearm when I go out, after 24 trips with this pack I have tossed BOTH bladders and I am going to buy a name brand then try my luck with that. If you buy this item throw out the bladder as soon as you open it!!!

Great pack! Size is very practical as a 24hr. pack. When loaded with water and other essentials, it is not as heavy as what would be expected. The only modification I would like to see would be more MOLLE straps on the sides and front. Also, what I have done is replaced the hose with a manual turn-off valve just to avoid accidental leaks through the valve if you hit it.

I bought this pack about little over a year ago close to 2yrs... i bought it for mountin Bicking... and i have used it alot... i use it for mounting bicking and hicking... i also coach a little teen paint ball team for my niephews... and of coarse i use it for that as well. we do woods ball and i teach them how to hit and roll and low crawl and all that good trash... i'm heavy set now well over 240 lbs and i hit and roll with this thing on and no problems, the hydro pack hasn't even strted to leak on me... i wish i had this thing when i served 8 yrs in the Marine Corps... i take this thing every where. it even goes with me to the hunting lease... great for stalking... it is very comfortable and i stuff it with alot of gear... it carys all my first aid / surgical kit and then some... this is absolutly an assome pack i recomend it highly... i have put this thing through alot of abuse from wiping out and rolling down the mountin bike trails to hitting and rolling on the woods ball field and getting pounded by paint balls and i take it everywhere... it is a very important piece of gear... defanantly worth the money and would not want to be in the sh&t with out it ! ! !

WOW that pretty much sums it up. This day pack is pretty similar to another brands H.A.W.G. model, but you would pay three times the cost for that brand. this thing is awesome. Not quite as big as a backpack, but still has plenty of room, and there is a zipper to expand for more room, Buy one now before they realize the pricing error they've made. Well well well worth the money.

I ordered this on Thursday, and came home Sunday morning to find it here on my front porch. Very pleased with speed of delivery. Initial inspection finds this pack to be pretty rugged. And considering the local military surplus and retailers sell the same thing ( or ) near identical, for $59 - $79, I'm very impressed and pleased.

Outstanding piece of equipment! I purchased one of these badboys about 4 months ago primarily for work (Mechanical contracting). I have carried it with me every day since then, dropped it drug it through gravel etc. The pack compartment is awesome, actually makes a good lunch kit too! Two recommendations I have is to: 1. zip-tie the bite valve on ASAP as it can come off fairly easily. 2. put a little petroleum jelly around the fill valve o-ring. The only regret that I have is that we did'nt have these back when I was in the Marine Corps. One fully functional piece of gear! Semper Fi! JEB

I got this pack for hikes in the deep forset where its around 95 degrees at all times, and I wasent expecting much. I was surprised when I got it that the little thing could handle so much abuse, its dropped, throne around and sat on often. The only problem is that the screw on lid on the water bladder leaks often so dont fill it to the brim. But for the price its an all around good pack. I recomend it to anyone.

Very good pack for hydration during airsoft and paintball games. The bite valve fits comfortably under my paintball mask. I haven't encountered any problems so far. The only thing that bothers me is that one of the compartments is a little small for some of the things I like to carry into an airsoft or paintball game. But thats just me. I give it 5/5 bullets. Well worth the price.

I am in the U.s Border Patrol in El Paso. So When it gets into the 100 it comes in handy. The water stays cool for a while. The pockets are big for the size of the pack. It lets me ride my atv with comfort. Its The Best.

I bought one of these from AEX in Santa Clara, and it's put up with a torrent of abuse from me. I slid down a 40 foot cliff and rolled across my back a few times on the way down, and it's still perfectly fine. The stitching is of decent (but not as good as I'd like) quality. The hydration pouch survived that fall, and didn't pop. The only reason I didn't give it 5 bullets is because the zipper pulls are a little cheap and will sometimes rip off. This can be fixed by using plain paracord for zipper pulls. The zipper for the main pouch could also have been a little bigger. Narrow zippers tend to mess up more often.

I bought 2 of these packs. One for me and the other for my girlfriend for light hikes and paintball. I am a big guy, 260lbs. It fits across the chest but not the gut, but that's my fault! Workin on that!! Otherwise this seems to be a sturdy pack. I also got the MOLLE first aid kit, item MOLLE-617. The pack also expands to hold a little more. It is pretty comfortable. The extra support across the chest keeps it in place while manuevering. My girlfrinds loves her too. Oh yeah...the mouthpiece seemd to attract lent etc...so watch out for that. All together thank you CTD...great pack great price

MOLLE hydration pack

This is an excellent piece of gear. I believe it ties or beats any other hydration pack out there, including more popular name-brand packs that cost twice as much. I purchased the pack for biking, hiking, ranch-work, camping, hunting, fishing, and airsoft. The straps and fabric are much more heavy-duty than I expected, especially for the low price. The color--my pack is olive drab--is darker and sharper than it appears in CTD's photo: really pretty. The large zipper-pocket is seperate from the pouch for where the bladder is stored--lots of space! And obviously, the four rows of MOLLE webbing are capable of taking pouches, augmenting the amount of stuff this pack can haul. The bladder tube also comes with an OD sleeve, usually an extra purchase for other packs. If you're in the market for a hydration pack, this is the one to get. I am amazed that such a versatile piece of equipment comes with such a small pricetag. Way to go, Dirt.

Purchased one of these little babies before last summer. Used it on a Mountain hike and a multi-day field training exercise along with other MOLLE gear purchased here at CTD(vest, mag puches,etc)... glad i had it with me. I give this one 4 bullets because when you fill up the 2.5L bladder it tends to distorts the pack a little bit, it take a little getting used to... but none the less a good little hydro-pack.
