AR-15 Tools
So, you have an AR-15. Do you have all of the tools you'll need for modifications, general maintenance, and repair? If you're wondering about what all you'll need to work on your AR-15, keep reading...
The first tool all AR-15 owners should have is a multi-tool. You can find these here: ARR-070.
In order to make sure that your upper receiver is locked in place while working on it, you will need a receiver claw: ARR-524. In order to make sure that your lower receiver is locked in place while working on it, you will need The Flipper: ARR-537.
Front sight adjustments can be made with the following tools: ARR-145 (A2 sight), ARR-543 (A1 sight package), ARR-544 (A2 sight package) and ARR-149 (A1 and A2).
If you are planning on removing the forearm grips, you will probably want one of these removal tools: ARR-046 and ARR-144.
Installing or removing roll pins can be tricky, so you will benefit from having this roll pin punch set: GNS-043. Regular punch sets (for regular pins) can be found here: WIN-146 and WIN-124.
If you are going to be using punches, do not forget a hammer: TOOL-507 and TOOL-516.
As with almost all other firearms, you will probably need a screwdriver set: GNS-100.
