A great little box for travelling with ammo abroad. The 2 lock tabs provided accept TSA approved locks, but are a bit on the light side and could be cut off around the lock with a simple pair of snippers. I will buy several more for first aid, and survival items for my hunting vehicles, quads, and snowmobiles. Great for boating as well and will hold flare gun, SPOT transmitter cell phone, and a Taurus Judge! EPERB can be attached to the unit with velcro through loops molded into sides of box. THANKS CTD!!!

This box should be good at keeping survival items dry (matches, candles, water purification supplies, etc.), but as the other reviewer noted, it is smaller than you might think. Mine also came missing the compass. I'm sure CTD would be quick to replace my box with a new one, but I think I'll just put a REAL compass in the box as part of the survival kit instead!

Decent little box to store small trinket items or folded important pieces of paper. Not very large, check the dimensions, but it does have a compass and a rubber gasket seal. I have not checked how water-tight the box is. Best use would be to store medical/survival aids, phone, wallet, etc. in case of an emergency.
