5 bullets: Quality, Durability, Adjustability (for the portly fellows) Front heavy, yes...but can be fixed by attaching the MOLLE Shotgun scabbard to the back. It provides enough weight to balance the vest. Loosen all straps around the lower back before you wear it, put the vest on, get it comfortable, cinch it up, perfect fit. No Shotgun? Work on it...but in the mean time...try using blue gel ice packs in the back (or hydration bladder like originally intended) then repeat...

This is a great product. Fits good too. I'm 6-2 220 and I didn't have a problem adjusting mine to fit.

This is a great vest. The one I got was the Condor vest. The pistol mag pockets are a bit small on the holster and the three on the right side. I am In the process of stretching them out for my 5.7 pistol mags. The holster fits my 5.7 Pistol great and also fits and Beretta 92FS pretty good. My 1911 government is a pretty loose fit, but it would not go anywhere. I am 6' 240 and this XL vest fits me great with lots more room for adjustment. The pistol belt fits too. I might try to find a fat boy extension for it for when I wear bulkier cloths. The horizontal mag pouches on the belt are a bit small also. I wonder what kind of mags they made them for. I have H&K USP .45 Tactical mags in it, and nothing bigger will fit. I Just wish the pistol mag pouches were bigger. That is why I gave this only 4 shells.

I bought this vest for airsoft and tactical drills...it's awesome...I'm a skinny lanky dude and at about 5'9" and 120lbs it fits me pretty well. You can fit any type of pistol I've ever tried (minus any extra accessories...a naked gun will fit) and holds all my pistol and rifle ammo. Amazing vest, has a small radio pocket, interchangeable pistol holster/2 AR-15 sized clips (attaches with Velcro and straps, 3 pistol clip spots on the chest, 4 integrated AR clips spots, has a nice little pocket on the chest with a removable shotgun shell patch that you could put a Velcro "police" patch or whatever as well, drag loop and the inside has zippered mesh on each side of the chest and one in the back good for hydration pack or even armor plating is you had the cash for that kind of thing. Also has a small D-ring on the shoulder that you can hook a 3-point sling clip or stick your hydration pack's feed tube through...all in all, I'd recommend it to anyone!

I was very skeptical about this vest, however, after reading some of the reviews, and seeing that it was a heavy construction i decided to buy it. it took a short while for me to get it adjusted, and i actually had some assistance from my wife. after getting it fully adjusted i made some modifications, there are two buckles located on the front by the zipper, i removed both on my vest and it seems to function exactly the same, i weigh 160 and im 5'7" i bought the M/L and the tag actually says M on it. the reviewers are correct and it is completely adjustable in almost every single way. i made some adjustments to the holster as well and positioned it to where my 1911 wont fall out. when the vest comes the holster isnt installed properly, there are tabs on the back of the holster that the straps feed through to make it more secure.the mag pouches for the M16/AR15 mags are a little snug. i love this vest and look forward to using it for a long time.

I just got this thing. It looks real cool but is way too small. I ordered the XL-XXL and I am 6'1, 240 lbs and this thing does not fit. My Glock 38 and 4 clips in the pouches it makes the vest very front heavy, with added AR clips I’m sure it’s worse. Hopefully I can find a decent vest that’s similar but fits. After making all the correct adjustments it was still too tight and uncomfortable. If you’re 6 feet tall and 80 lbs this might work.

Be advised, this vest is purchased from several manufacturers. I ordered mine after reading most, if not all, the reviews from every size and color (mostly to determine size to order). Was expecting to receiver vest made by Candor (as one of the reviews stated) but instead received one made by Voodoo Tactical. While the vest is very well made, it does not have some of the "bells & whistles" the Condor unit has. No extra pistol mag pouches on the belt, the belt has a max size of about 42" and none of the mag pouches are removable. I only gave it 3 bullets because of my disappointment. Customer service was very polite but offered no solution.

Vest is fine and all but it doesn't fit me. I'm a large built guy and had hopes from the other reviews this would at least fit. It doesn't come anywhere close. Just be warned, these things are made small!

first off, this vest is manufactured by condor. i love it. this vest is adjustable and it will fit perfect. one of the first things i did was replace the holster with another molle holster i had. the holster it came with was too tight for my taurus 92. this vest has molle rows on the back. i strapped a camelback on it. not a thing that i dont like. its very tough. doesnt feel like its going to fall apart when you hit the ground running.

I recieved my vest 4 days after ordering it, I was very excited because this is the first Tactical Vest i have ever ordered. Before i purchased this vest i tried to do as much research as i could, i look at all kinds of reviews, and tried to find out about as much size info i could, so i was aware of all the flwas t his vest had.Its true the plastic zipper is very hard to get zipped, i will be changing it. The first thing i did was take the holster and thread the quick realese clip through the molle webing above it, that help keep it close to the vest so it didn't feel like the gun was going to fall off the vest. then before i could even put any gear in it i noticed that the stitching below the three rifle pouches was ripped out,I was very upset, so before i could go any farther my wife had to sew it back togeter, it took her about an hour an a half. after all of that i finally gat to put it on, i started making the needed adjustments for size, i am 5'6 & 220lbs the width is perfect but the height is a totally different thing, the way the shoulder straps are made it took some finagaling, i had to take the shoulder straps and streatch them to the back of the vest on that molle part. but once i did that every thing was fine, all my gear seems to fit very well in it, it feels very snug and secure once it is loaded down. It does hold the AK-47 mags very well, the holster also fits my Glock 17 & 23, My Taurus PT111, and my High Point 9mm, & S&W M&P 9mm. I guess over all i am pleased with the vest i just wish that it didn't take so much work to get it that way. I will be letting you know how it stands up in the field.

I'm also a large guy and finding a vest to fit has been hell. This one fits over my body armor and doesn't make me feel like I'm wearing a girdle. The Molle makes adding extras very easy.

This vest is an excellent purchase. Thanks to the MOLLE system all of the pouches can be easily removed and moved about. The rigging is on the back as well, for additional attachments. The pistol holster can fit a variety of my Airsoft pistols, and the clip pouches are the perfect size to carry tubes of 6mm ammo for the Airsoft. The black vests are actually black, not silvery like shown in the picture on the order page. The whole vest is completely adjustable, and fits well over a BDU jacket.

WOW! I'm 6'5" and 300lbs and this fits perfect with sizing room to spare! It's comfortable and with adjustments, the pistol belt actually fits where it's supposed to. I fully expected this not to fit and it does, and feels good too. I would definitely recommend this vest.

My brother bought this vest for airsoft use. He got it quick and he looks great in it. Everyone looked cool wearing it. The only problem is the zipper on the front. It is made of plastic and the first time it was shot by a plastic bb from across the yard it knocked out three teeth from the zipper. So we went to walmart and bought a metal $2 zipper and put it on the zest. Now it is perfect. Very functional and a must have for anyone needing some airsoft protection and plenty of pockets.

Bought and received the XXL model in black with in 1 week. The vest itself has a lot of room. It can be opened all the way to fit up to a 54" chest. The problem is the belt. It only goes to about 42" maximum. If you are a big guy and want to wear this vest over some good cold weather gear it may be VERY tight or not fit at all. I recommend buying a separate web belt that fits up to 50" and using it with the vest. Other than the belt it a great deal....

This vest is great! I ordered it tuesday, got it friday. It is decently built, easy to adjust, and fits great. I am a big dude (260lbs at 6'1) and it fits with room to spare. I will be using this for Three Gun competitions and possibly some airsoft.

Bought vest and had my doubts because of the price. After i got it I was so impressed I bought my dad one for christmas!

I got my vest in 3 days of ordering it. I am very happy at the quality of the vest per money paid. It fits my ak mags great and carries my 45 in the side holster as well as the needed mags for it. Very well made vest. Fits 3 30 round AK mags good, 3 30 round sks mags good, also will hold your 10/22 hicap mags. Pistol holster is great, holds my glock 19 good. A total of 6 pistol mags can be held in the vest, if you use the 2 on the belt along with the other 4 up top. The holster will also hold medium frame revolvers. The top pouch holds 10 12g. shells well.

Just got this vest and I have to say I was impressed. I already have a nylon duty belt, but the one that came with this vest could be used comfortably. I was just looking for something to carry gear in case of an active shooter, but found that I will be using this vest any time I have to go into a questionable situation. As for Tan Man's fix for the holster, I found by weaving the straps of the holster in and out of the vest, that it sinched up fine. It was hard, but with a little elbowgrease, it worked fine. I also now have a place to carry my gas mask.

Purchased this vest about a month ago. Every thing that was said about it is true. Im a bigger guy and the vest expands and shrinks to the desired size. Fits both my Glock 23 and SW M&P. Belt at the bottom also fits to desired size. Feel that this was a good buy for the price. Would recommend

Wow! What a great buy, I'm not a big fan of the MOLLE system because I can never get the pouches and holsters to stay tight against my body, but this vest blew my mind. I've had it for about a month now and I wear it every night while on duty. I would definitly recommend this to anyone interested in a tac vest. Definite 5 stars.

wow! this was amazing to see i really had no good expectations about the vest i thought that if i bought it from ctd that it would really be cheaper than dirt, but i was totally wrong. so many pockets you will just remember where you out everything. i just got mine yesterday and loved it so much that i wore it almost all day. oh also there are two extra pistol mag holders connected to the belt that are not shown in the picture. wow so amazed great job ctd and of course yes i would recommend this to anyone who likes to shoot but does not want to carry around mags and supplies:) would give 10 bullets if it let me.

Remarkable and versitile, durable heavy material, like afformentioned its a little long but can be moded and adj. lots of mag pouches for 3 different kinds of mags. I had wished the molle rings on the back came up a little higher to accept different types of packs, that is my only gripe though. cant really find any real issues. Great product unbeatable price. I just got this vest yesterday and let me tell you this thing is great! I was affraid of all the comments about the belt size for the vest and replacing it because I'm a big guy. I'm 6'2 250lbs. The vest is huge and the belt just needed to be adjusted ever so slightly. I even had to modify the shoulder velcro straps because the vest was a little long. I recommend this vest to anyone who wants a tactical vest for shooting at the range or for duty. It has Mollie loops all over the front and back to mount other items. I have a quick solution for the holster flipping forward with a firearm. If you relocate the holster so there is a Mollie loop just above the holster you can run the buckle for the holster through the Mollie loop gently forcing it through the loop and it will keep the firearm tight to your body. Problem solved!

What can I say. For the price you can not beat this vest!!! I was not expecting the material to be so heavy, it is great. I was expecting a light weight vest made from some cheap cloth and this vest is anything but cheap. Thank you cheaper than dirt for a great quality tool, vest.

I have been using my vest in training and on call outs and am very pleased with it. The only problem I had wa swith the holster. It dosn't fit tight enough to the vest and flops around causing the snaps to come loose. I remady this my attaching it with some molle speed clips. All in all it is a great vest for the price. None better or cheaper

I just got my ordered vest, and I'm impressed. Well built, strong and sturdy. The size says XL/XXL, which should have fit me quite well, but it's fairly snug. The only thing I'm not happy with is the holster doesn't seem built for my 1911 pistol. Seems more for a Glock or Beretta. And with my gear, it's fairly front heavy, though that might be different once I add more MOLLE gear to the back. Overall, a good range vest, or for coyote hunting, which is why I bought one.

This vest is VERY versatile! The vest can be used by ANY shooter, not just police entry teams. It works well, comfortable, and plenty of room for movement. You can purchase add-ons or use any part of it to suit you and what you are doing. I recommend it for anyone at the range!
