I got this bag because i wanted a nice school bag and something that could be used for airsoft or hunting. So far I have had no problems. I also like the secret pockets and surprisingly the single strap does not cut into your shoulder. I think is a good backpack for school, camping, hiking, airsoft, or hunting. Worth every cent.

I wanted to find a good bag that was hydration compatible and had the molle set up. I was overly impressed with this pack. I use it as a day to day carry bag. I usually keep water, jerky, first aid kit, and it still has room for books and other things I use on the day to day. It is extremely comfortable and practical. The side bags on front of the pack easy conceal a surefire light and a full sized .45 with with spare mag and no one is the wiser! I was able to use the molle gear to add more room. High quality material, bag has compartments inside of the compartments to keep gear organized... If you really want the best bang for your buck, this IS THE ONLY WAY TO GO!

I bought this bag for bow hunting and I am very impressed. I attach my quiver to the right side MOLLE straps and I have convenient access to my arrows. This bag allows me to seperate my gear so that with a little practice, I can find everything by touch in the dark! The bag is stable and comfortable and I can lock it down so it will not shift when I am stalking. By adding MOLLE pouches it allows me to switch easily between archery and muzzle loading gear. I would suggest this to anyone looking for an affordable, effective hunting pack.

I have had this bag for six months now and it has lived up to every expectation. I also bought one for my son who is a seventeen year old to use as a schoolbook bag. I did this because he goes through about one bag a year and I wanted to see how it would hold up in his environment. So far it has done very good and he prefers the single strap configuration to two. He says that a heavy load doesn’t cut into his shoulder the way a traditional two-strap system dose. Time will tell about the stitching near the top of the bag where the single shoulder strap comes over the shoulder and seems to be the only weak point in the system. I especially like the single strap system because I can shoulder a weapon into the pocket of my shoulder without a strap being in the way. J T Winston Salem NC

I just got this bag in the mail. Very Very fast delivery. This bag is slightly bigger than I thought buy still a great pack. Losts of space and also many many pockets. The "secret" spots on the pack is great for hiding your weapon or anything else <---- lots of room. If your looking for a great "school bag" this is a good buy.

Just got this sling bag today. Fast shipment and as described. I am pleased with the size (going to use it daily for work transporting a laptop in a case) and this size looks like it'll do the job. Lots of pockets and places to put stuff in the two smaller compartments. The webbing looks strong and secure enough to add other pouches. I haven't filled it up yet but having had other sling type bags I have a good idea what to expect. All in all a pretty decent bag for the price. I've seen other bags out there that appear to be the same for a lot more money, so this one, if it is the same as the others, is a pretty good deal. One thing I will say (and the one thing that is keeping from this going to 5 bullets) is that the machine stitching over the seam binding covering on some of the seams was not locked off, which means that it will unravel over time. Actually I had my wife who is a seamstress check the bag over and she found that flaw. That's something that can be fixed pretty easily, but I can't (rather, she can't) see all the seam bindings under, say, the sholder strap, so I can't tell how long the strap will hold out. Again, hard to argue with the price, and does look pretty durable. I don't think you would go too far wrong in purchasing it.

My first order with Cheaperthandirt, and I am pleased. The bag arrived fast, and was "as described". I found a review on another site that had much better pictures of the bag, but nothing was differing from the description that CTD listed, just more detailed. The bag has an "odd" connection on the end of the shoulder sling. I found that if you use the "in-line" quick connector, the bag works for across the chest carry, as designed, however it does not stay in place and sags a lot in the back, making it very uncomfortable. I wanted to wear the bag over one shoulder, like a backpack style, however if you use the standard "in-line" quick disconnect the shoulder strap is held at a weird angle and is VERY uncomfortable, almost painful, when fully loaded as the strap cuts into your shoulder. If you use the "other" connector that is up on the straps webbing, it lets the strap move against your body, and the strap lies more flat, however the bag still tends to shift to the side and slip off of your shoulder often. The bag was not clearly identified as an across the chest rig only, and that is a little disappointing, but not unexpected, so I did not take off any bullets for it as it was a "lets try to wear it my way" purchase. :) All in all a great bag.
