i have bought 2 of these pouches one black and one acu.you can put just about anything in this. i use mine as a wallet/carryon for when i travel. it holds my ipod cellphone/pda money keys reading glasses and a couple of pens. love it!

Hello all. Now let's be serious. This is the same pouch other name brand dealers sell only this one has the fold down clear plastic pouch, and here we go... I have owned mine for 2+ years now and never had a problem, the contents include: outside pocket = 15 yards of coiled up paracord and a small compass. Inside first flap going left to right the = survival bag, above that a mini headlamp, outside that pocket in the elastic there is a mini bic lighter, small container with snare wire, fishing hooks and sinkers. Next side of the pouch a multitool with in the long narrow pocket, next to that a water straw and purification tablets. On the fold out flap I have more paracord for fishing line, and rolled up small garbage bags. P.S. the name brand and this one is made in the same factory, SAME STITCHING!

Awesome. The smaller size that others have complained about is a plus for me, because similar organizers I have found to be too bulky. This is the right size to carry some essentials, without being a weighty burden. The quality seems about right too, maybe slightly better than what you'd expect for the price. Just don't over stuff the thing, and the stitching will last. The shipping was lightning fast, and I found the item to be a great value.

I agree wit hthe other reviewers. The bag is small and you're not going to fit a whole lot in here. I carry a moncular, 3 pens, a small Swiss Army knife, and a small flashlight. It's a battle to get it closed. The construction seems fine so far though. I would have liked an urban color flag also.( black and gray).

The other reviews are correct--you can only fit perhaps a third of the items in the photo into this pouch. What's worse, though I only had the proper third in mine, after a month or so of use, the stitches blew out. The price is low, but even so I cannot afford a new one every six weeks.

It will do. there is no way you can fit all of the things, in the picture, in that pouch. But it does the job. It holds my iphone, some pens, swiss army knife (large size), a knife, and a Landmark Compass (#15117). It closes easily and is not to big and bulky. One not so good note is that the pouch is 1 molle strap shy of making it fit snug like all the rest of my molle attachments. But like i said, it gets the job done. And it looks nice. I got it in black and the patch is black and green. i was expecting black and gray.

This Item is far too small for actual use. For example, look at the photo above. You would only put your sunglasses in this pouch if you wanted an excuse to buy new sunglasses--zipping it closed would crush them. I put an LED flashlight and a Gerber Multitool in those two pouches, a couple of pens in the slots shown, and a thin, disposable plastic poncho behind the pens. The case balked at closing cleanly and compactly, but with some shifting, I got it shut. By the end of the week, though I had not opened it more than 2 or 3 times, a seam in the rear had split. Still have the flag, though, I suppose.

This is a decent little pouch, but I give it a four bullet review partially because of the fact that the picture of this item's contents is VERY misleading. It is my experience that you can only fit about a 1/3 of the stuff shown in the photo. That said, this is a good little pouch for some thin lightweight items like pens and a notepad and compass and a few other small items, and for my search and rescue vest it works well on the front of one of the MOLLE EMT Pouches.
