ModGear Black M4 Open Top Triple Mag Pouch Holds AR-15 30 Round Magazines
Our Low Price: $19.97
Manufacturer: Cheaper Than Dirt MOLLE127
Item: MOLLE-127

Holds three M4 30 round magazines securely in place with an elastic bungee system. Three rows of MOLLE strapping have been added to the front so you can attach other MOLLE pouches. Imported.

This triple mag shingle is designed to securely hold three M4 magazines. It features a deep pocket with an open top design with adjustable shock cord and pull tab retention bungees. These cords securely hold your mags in place and still allow you to quickly and quietly access them when they are needed. Each pouch has additional 3 rows by 6 columns of PALS webbing on the front allowing you to stack multiple panels on top of each other or to add any modular pouches on top of it. This gives you the flexibility to layer pouches on your vest or armor. The user can also use one of the magazine pockets to carry a pistol with light or laser attached. This shingle attaches to any MOLLE compatible vest, bag, panel or belt. It requires 3 rows by six columns of PALS webbing and each pocket features color keyed drainage grommets.

used 4 of them for 10 Months in Sand Box, cut off the straps that can on them and used plastic molly ones more security and better fit on OTV.. and held OTV sides better, when using side plates.

Poor design

I bought two of these magazine holders. They do not fit onto my MOLLE vest well. The straps on the back that are supposed to be used to weave the pouch to the vest are too close together. The straps look to be normally 1" apart on my vest. The straps on the magazine pouch have their spacing down to 1/4". This prevents proper weaving onto the vest/chect rig. They can be attached without weaving the straps, but then its loose. They also don't have attachment straps on the far ends, so the ends (left and right) tend to stick out instead of being tightly held to the vest.

Bought these to go on a drop leg platform. They fit nice and tight to the platform just like they were made to do, i do advise that you leave your mags in there to help stretch it out a little. No complaints at all Thanks CTD!

I bought this after reading a review from another satisfied customer, with the intention of mounting it to a Molle "drop leg" platform. It does indeed fit the Molle drop leg gear PERFECTLY! In fact, you could probably buy another one and mount two (slightly staggered) on one leg! This and the drop leg universal holster on my right side means nothing more to carry when I'm out blasting varmints! They will hold either Magpul mags or mil spec aluminum mags nice and snug like! (You might want to invest in some Magpul floor-plates for your aluminum mags if you need to change out your mags quickly with this setup!) It is also best to get a dump pouch for your empties so you don't forget which mags still have rounds in them!

Good triple mag pouch. I like it, but I am opting for the other triple mag pouch for my gear. Nice fit and with practice, removing the magazine from the pouch is quick.

Fits mags very well, 30rd. I suggest taking time to get used to taking the mags in and out. Three fully loaded mags on a Molle vest does not leave much room for error. Exellent quality.

Works with both 30 and 40 round AR-15 mags. Extremely secure fit.

Great Quick Draw Pouch

I purchased this for use in rifle schools and in active duty where a quick connect/disconnect thigh rig option is needed. I purchased the three magazine pouch to carry AR-15 30 round magazines on my upper thigh/leg. I installed the three magazine quick draw pouch on a MOLLE-600 MOLLE Leg Platform Carrier. The magazine pouch fit the MOLLE-600 perfectly and stays put. I also installed the MOLLE-307 MOLLE Shotgun Ammo Pouch on the front loops of this three magazine pouch. With the three magazines in piece installed, magazines in place and the MOLLE-307 Shotgun Ammo Pouch on the magazine pouch, the described setup takes about half of the space on the smaller zip up pocket on the front of Cheaper Than Dirt's very own MOLLE-202 MOLLE Ultimate Rifle Case. Only issue I quickly found, the elastic pulls restrict quickly returning a magazine to the pouch so don't depend on it for tactical reload storage. Get a dump pouch. Overall: Very nice piece for the money and I would purchase again.

Best Mag Carrier

This is the best way to carry your magazines! With the bungee top open design, you can grap a magazine with one hand while seated or laying down or crouching. Normal flap top designs are very cumbersome to use and only really work for standing postion, which is crazy as you are never standing during a fire fight. The bungee keeps the magazines from rattling, but quickly ready. Fit right on you vest so you can position the pouch for your needs. Great for quick access when riding in a vehicle as we are now doing in the Mid-East. The only draw back is the magazine may get more dust on it, but since it is ammo down, I have not had any problems. Good magazine pouch.
