Finally the best Military MOLLE Pack has arrived! This is the most complete, inventive pack we have ever seen, loaded with custom design features that meet and match all environments and applications.

This pack integrates Modular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment (MOLLE) designs. Every feature of this pack has been carefully engineer for both versatility and adaptability.

Main Compartment is 20" tall, 19" wide and 12" deep with four quick release straps to hold the load in place. Dual nylon mesh pockets with zippers, MOLLE webbing, dual covered vent holes on the top for radio antenna or bladder tube. Oversized, hook & loop fastened, covered center hole for antenna or pole. This main compartment is surrounded by four self-healing zippers providing the maximum in accessibility. Any zipper can be moved to allow access from the top or either side or split wide to facilitate initial pack loading.

Outer Upper compartment opens with dual zippers and is 14" tall, 12" wide and 3" deep. There is a key holder, three document pockets, pen and calculator pockets and dual bungee cords that tie down and adjust with hook-and-loop to provide the maximum load retention and stabilization. This pouch is covered with MOLLE straps and offset with dual gussets so the attached MOLLE accessories do not need to conform to the contour of the loaded pack. A hidden zippered compartment rests beneath the outer compartment and is perfect for maps, documents or charts.

Lower Outer Compartment is dressed with more MOLLE straps and continues with the same dual self-healing zippers. Inside mesh pouches will secure your small items. An auxiliary zippered mesh pouch secures your valued items and keeps them within quick reach. 12.5" wide, 6" tall and 3" deep.

Dual Side Pouches with MOLLE webbing outers and dual self-healing zippers 9" tall, 5" wide and 2.5" deep, perfect for ammo, magazines or water bottles.

Top carry handle, side balance carry handle and compression straps. The attention to detail is so fine that each piece of strap webbing has a hook-and-loop keeper to roll up excess straps and keep your pack and appearance in top form.

Fully Adjustable shoulder straps with quick release buckles and padded back rest with raised contour pads to prevent fatigue. Padded lumbar support with adjustable waist support for even load distribution. Clever design allows this waist belt support to be removed to cut weight and tighten the packs' profile for air or ground transport.

Rigid hidden pouch is beneath the padded back with access granted by a full length zipper, padded support and provides another perfect storage area for documents or your pressed dress shirts by providing both separation and support to the stored items.

Without a doubt, this is the best operationally designed MOLLE pack we have seen, providing the lightweight versatility of the MOLLE system, and the attention to detailing of an advanced backpack. Weighs 5.2lbs, constructed of rugged nylon. This premium pack is defined by every zipper being corded for quick access and every stitch has been planned to maximize the versatility and functionality of this Ultimate MOLLE Pack. This is a great bag. When I opened it I was like "WOW, This is big" but not to big. There is so much room. I am only 5'7" and it fits great. At first it looked like I needed to be 7 foot. But a tug here, a pull there and PERFECT. Much better then some of the higher $ bags. and the Molle fits perfect. OD green looks great.

This is my bug out bag, it's big enough to carry everything you and your family will need for a few days. It has so many pockets and useful straps inside, I found a place for everything. I've got mine freighted down, and it still wears comfortably and it seems like an all around rugged bag. Features they don't tell you about are hydration bladder pockets and the two 30 round magazine holders in one of the pockets. A great bag.

I just got this product today, I gave it 4 Bullets because I am a very picky individual, and this backpack appears to made very well. It uses very thick material. I am 6'1'' and I weigh 240 lbs., and I fit very well feels like it will distribute weight evenly. I would have given it 5 Bullets however, I haven't taken into the woods yet! So I can attest this is a great product so far. Oh and it is a very big bag!!!

From the reviews I have been reading, I can honestly say that it is a hit and miss with this bag. I personally have packed the bag with over 50 lb. and rucking over 5 miles. It absolute stood up to the job at hand, with me camping, going underway, and liberty ports. I love this bag and recommend it to all my friends. The only down side that I have is that the plastic buckle on the chest is the only thing that broke so far, and I have had the bag for over 6 months.

Bought this before I went on a trip. It came 10 Minutes after I left. the next weekend I took it to a parade with my kids we didnt know how the weather would be so, I had them bring me a jacket the we could put in the pack. Six jackets (four for my boys and two for me and the wife) later they all fit fine and we had more room than I expected I was able to put some things for the baby in this pack also. Thank you CTD

Great bag with lots of storage. Price is awesome as well..WAY better price for the same bag than anywhere else I looked. Only complaint: shoulder straps don't appear to be as high quality as the rest of the bag, but not enough to warrant walking away from this deal. I bought the OD model, now thinkngo buying one in tan.

Wow! This pack is far superior to what I expected, in line with the UTG and ops bags that sell for double the price or more. Very solid, with well designed pockets, compartments and pouches made this a treat to load up with over 50 lbs of gear. Solid straps, internal tie downs and specialized velcro retained magazine sleeves inside. I really like the spring webbing in the lower compartment to hold jingly items snug. Really, a top-notch pack for the money-a deal.

This looks like it will do fine for my purpose. I didn't buy this to withstand airline baggage handlers and the TSA, I bought it for the Get Out Of Dodge supplies. True, the plastic clips seem a tad low-grade and I can see why the zippers are not going to take much abuse, but for the price, what do you want? Try to find this at WalMart or any camping store at this price. Good luck with that. True to other reviews, the thing is huge, really roomy. I may not even have to "liberate" a shopping cart from a local grocer, on my way out of town if it turns out to be a walk-out instead of a drive-out. It arrived on the third business day from ordering, with 3-5 day shipping. You could do worse things with the money.

I bought this bag while deployed to Iraq in 2005. Since then I've deployed with this bag four more times and used it extensively to carry kit state side. After 5 years I finally managed to blow out the zipper on the main compartment. It's not made out of the same weight nylon as the camelback bag but it also doesn't cost $300. I loved this bag and will definitely order another. I highly recommend it.

When you buy a Camelbak wanna be, don't hold this item to the same standard as a high dollar Camelbak. this is identical to the CBK but it is a third the price. I took it to Afghanistan and it did lose some of the zipper pulls and one liners tore loose on the inside but other than that it held up well being tossed around in wreckers, Mrap Cougars and 1151's. It is well worth the money and you can still put a water bladder in it. Just remember it is not a Camelbak.

bought this item thinking that it would be a tough military pack. i used the pack as a backpack for school as well as occasionaly taking it camping. the first couple of months after getting it one of the upper clips attaching the shoulder strap to the pack snapped so i replaced it with a couple of chain links- worked great. soon the other side broke and i did the same thing. the cheap thin nylon in the outer compartment has ripped completly through and the bottom shoulder strap has ripped a large hole in the main compartment. i tried to fix it with an iron on patch but that soon ripped. the inner waterproofing plastic has also flake off in the areas that are often flexed. I have now had the pack for almost three years and sill use it for school. other than the previous problems no others have occured. the pack works but it was not what i expected when i bought it.

I love the bag. I use it for everything. There is not one day I go wothout using it. The only thing I dont like about it is that the bottom of the bag doesnt have much support to hold structure if you have a heavy solid object in the bag. Also the length adjusters on the shoulder straps never held tight so I had them sewn in place because when I am carrying a heavy load I don't want it sagging down on my butt while I am walking.

Well, some reviews say its not tough, but it was perfect for me. I am in the boy scouts and have taken this on every campout for a year, and purposely over stuffed it to see how long it would last. I could fit 6 meals of provisions, clothing, hand tools, a gallon of water and strap my tent to it (total weight around 25-30 pounds), and it has still held up! I have noticed however, slight weakness on the shoulder straps, but its something that could easily be sewed back on if it does become a problem. DEFINITELY will buy again! THANK YOU CTD!

I purchased this pack for hunting and short hikes. I purchased it in Fenruary 2008. Since then I have used the pack for three hikes and about a dozen trips duck hunting. For duck hunting I used the pack to carry layers of clothing I would shed, some misc gear, and ammo. Total weight when hunting about 15 lbs. For hiking I have used it on three days hikes to haul some water and other day hike items. The heaviest load was Monday July 27th 2009 when I carried 33 lbs. Prior to the July 27th hike I noticed that the stitching around the main compartment was coming apart as well as the bottom pocket. I repaired the stiches and went on the hike. By the time I got home from my hike, the pack had nearly fallen completely apart on the affected seams (with the exception of my repair work.) I called CTD.com and told them about my issue with the pack. They politely told me that I was outside of my warranty and had no help to offer. Bottom Line: I would not buy this pack again if I had it to do over. Save your money.

Detractors listen up! I've read some really ignorant comments here. This bag IS a great buy and when PROPERLY used it WILL give you value and great use. Rediculous complaints like it won't hold 70lbs or that the zippers bust out, or the bag comes apart? Well Menso's it aint made to hold 70lbs get a CFP 90 if you need to carry that much weight! and quit grabbing the zipper pulls and yanking them like your pulling a hummer out of a mud bank in Falluja! Bug out bag? GOOD choice, but it aint gonna carry a PRC88 and 40 batteries! Where the hell do you guys learn this stuff?? Fellas it isnt Mil-Spec cause that would entail they design it to be idiot proof and capable of being thrown out of a C-130 like a LAPES palet stuffed full of Ma Deuce ammo and survive, BECAUSE and I will get an Amen from every old timer on this "18 year old GI's cant and wont take care of anything issued them because momma and daddy never taught them to respect and take care of something that doesnt cost them anything!" Let's be reasonable here BOYS it's a reasonably priced, Damn well designed, USEFUL Pack if you use it like it's designed to be used, as a lightweight pack and not a CFP 90 or a Large Alice Pack or a SPADE or ILBE Marine pack. Get real in your complaints and don't show me how Stupid you are by abusing something you paid money for!

Just got the pack and put it together today. It really does look and feel like a great bag. The color matches all my other OD stuff I have and I can put anything I want to on it. You do have to put the straps on yourself, but that takes a total of about two seconds. The nylon seems like it should hold up to most anything I can throw at it short of going thru a deployment. It is not a true GI pack, but im a civi, so oh well. There is even more space than I thought it would have and Ill be getting a hydration bag to go in it soon. I will write a better review once i give it a good field test. Only reason it got four bullets is that i would like to see it in just a little bit tougher material than nylon. But definatly worth the money.

This bag was a complete waste of money. The first time I used it the seam around the main compartment pulled out. After having that fixed the front pocket seam started to rip out also. The zipper on the main compartment lost some teeth and now rendered the bag completely useless unless I have the zipper totally replaced. Nice layout, and pocket options, but very poor construction.

I bought this bag to go along with my camelbak motherload, and blackhawk ruck. i used this bag on a 2 month long trip to Europe. The bag took a beating and handled ok but after a "good" using, the zippers were worthless, bottom was falling out, and foam padding in the shoulders were paper thin. i zip tied and 550'd the bag together just to get it home. Honestly, just spend the money and get a camelbak with big YKK zippers or blackhawk gear. And o ya...this bag is made in china. camelbak and blackhawk are made in the USA!!!

I bought this pack to be used as my Bug Out Bag, while I am able to carry all the essentials it is a little on the heavy side. The pack weighs more than the Alice packs and I would say carries a little less. The up side is that it is heavy duty and comfortable to wear. I also like the compartments unlike the alice pack you can get to the item that you need instead of unpacking it all just to get to the item at the bottom. One last issue that I have is the inner pockets and dividers are made a webbing that snags on EVERYTHING and is a pain. All in all it is a good pack and would buy another should the need arise.

Got this bag three years ago so I guess I can write a review of it now. The pack is mainly used as my carry on luggage and has done well on two trips to Mexico. I have also used it hunting. Nice roomy pack. Can pack all you need for a 3 or 4 day hunt. The zippers have been the only problem I've had. If you over pack, the zippers will come loose. I've been able to rezip and apparently they are using self healing zippers now. This pack has done as well as my old G.I. ALICE medium pack. Worth the money if you are going to use it for hunting or traveling.

I was skeptical of how well this bag was made. I read several reviews before buying and had concerns about the overall stitching, after seeing several reviews claiming that they had to have the stitching reinforced. I have been impressed with the size and the amount of weight that the bag can hold. The zippers, shoulder straps and stress points all seem to be double-stitched and very strong. I had an exterior strap rip off the first week, but overall I have been impressed with the bag, especially at this price. Similar bags from Blackhawk and Camelback sell for more than 3 times the cost of this bag. I recommend this bag to anyone who needs a moderate-size rucksack for a reasonable price.

I just used the pack as a carry on bag cross country flight from South Carolina to Calif. I got two changes of clothes, toiletries, laptop, Ipod, camera, magazines, battries, etc. in it and still had room. I got a few strange looks from some of the passengers, but so what. I know it isn't designed for laptops but I padded it with the clothes and had no problems. The only problems: the kidney belt is not removable and one of the zipper pulls came loose. I lashed the belt down with 550 and got the pull fixed. Over all a fantastic bug out bag.

While some might say this is a good bug out bag...no, it is good to haul your books in for school or stuff that you will not be counting on this bag to do tough duty. The sewing in this bag is not very good. If you actually use it other than just load it and leave it in your closet you will see that it will come apart on you. It has cheap zippers, (which look great, but they WILL fail with a heavy load and heavy use) the material on the contact portion of the shoulder straps wore through after 2 days in the field, shoulder strap anchor stitching began coming apart and I retired this bag at that point. It barely made it back in from the field. I bought two, one for me and one for my father in law. He loves his, but I noticed it is also starting to fall apart. It is a good design, I also own the Camelbak version and it is the real deal, although quite a bit more expensive. You get what you pay for, don't bet your life on this bag. Actually USE it before you review it.

Okay, a great pack for less than $50. But I would like to give an important warning- the pack must be tested before using it in the field or having to seriously rely on it, etc. I own this pack and the smaller (3 day pack). Both have served me well over the past two years. Both have also had issues and have needed repair. In addition to the pack I recommend a good sewing kit with thick needles. The major points of concern are the follow- plastic buckles (especially on the shoulder straps) have broken under load. The stitching in the bottom pouch keeps wanting to pull away from the rest of the pack. A home fix (re-sew) hasn't let me down. Apart from these minor problems it is an OUTSTANDING pack. It rides very comfortable on your body and if under load the removable waist belt is a must. It has spack for everything and makes a great, large carry-on. The internal zippered compartments are great for organizing your gear. Two other points of interest- the pack by itself is pretty heavy, the pack also sticks out really far from your body. This is a major disadvantage in CQC or urban ops. I recommend the pack but expect to do some repairs on all of the off-name Molle gear. Note- saw this same line of Molle style gear on a recent trip to Beijing (in the Silk Market) for $13.00.

This pack holds my scuba gear when diving and all my school stuff around campus at UT. I carry a lot around school cause you never want to go back to the Jeep when you park 5 miles away. It holds everything while being very adjustable. Does not look too big but has so much room I get lost in it sometimes. Would recommend for the price if you want more room then a crappy over priced "name brand" pack the wont hold anything and will fall apart.

You can find many more reviews for this bag on www.survivalistboards.com. This is by far the greatest bug out bag I have ever used. I was able to fit 700 founds of 7.62x39 ammo for my ak in the small front compartment. 5 days worth of foods in the large. Cloths, maps, first aid kit, and literally everything I could think of. Thats not the best part. Besides being extremely durable and high quality, the bag balances its weight and holds tight to you. This bag is the all in one bag any real survivalist would ever want. The price is excellent. My only problem is that the bag did not come with the molle gear break down paper work. So based on its design you are pretty much on your own to figure out where things go. This is a problem for new campers, hikers, and survivalists. I give this bag 5 out of 5 marks. It is perfect.

This bag is very large. The MOLLE attachments are all over this thing. The two side pouches are such an added bonus. It has Velcro sealed holes on the top and one on the side for a hydration pack. The shoulder straps and the waist straps are at least 3/4" thick with foam making it wearable for long periods. Plenty of space and rugged. Compare this pack to ones at your favorite outdoors store and you are saving 100's of dollars. I recommend this for any hiker, camper, students, or anyone who needs a spacious, stylish. extremely comfortable pack!

The black one had a seam rip out, has plastic buckles to secure the top of the shoulder straps and the "antenna holes" just were not cut into it. Both the packs have had zipper issues, but the olive one not as bad. and both have the cheap plastic zipper pulls on them. They are good packs for the money, just as roomy as the camelback version, you just aren't paying for that brand name. the molle straps are tough and plenty. when i pack this sucker to go to the field i keep thinking i'm forgetting something because i still have room left when all my crap is in it.

I got the pack and was apprehensive at first but upon examination I was pleased at the quality of materials and workmanship. Pockets galore and enough molle straps to add on a bunch of gear. I will be flying to California in July and this will be my carry on bag. That ought to raise some eyebrows! My only complaint is that the kidney belt is not detachable. It gets in the way when carrying the bag by hand. But great bag.

Good price, but you get what you pay for. Alot of the stitching ripped on the inner compartments and a couple of clips broke on the outside. Other than that its a pretty good bag

Good price not so good quality. Stitching could be alot better, most of the traps are comming unstiched from main pack. Inner compartments torn open into outer compartments due to bad stitching. This pack has been to Iraq and back ,and now is in the trash. With some better quality in the assembly this would be the best pack you could ever own.

As the head of an underwater search and rescue I'am always looking good gear for my team. Saw this pack on CTD and got one for everyone on the team to carry all our dry gear. The team is more than happy with this pack. Jumping from truck to dock to boat these bags take a real beatting. Not one has let us down yet! We only have one problem, we can fill them! It's a great pack, for a great price!!

I've been looking for a good BOB/Emergency Kit bag for some time. Something that would hold everything I wanted and be comfortable to carry - without breaking the bank. This is that bag. I received it today - immediately filled it with everything on my list (see below) - and still have some room to spare (which I'll fill with a pair of pants, socks and a shirt). This bag has a great mix of nooks and crannies for compartmentalizing, and well placed exterior compression straps for keeping everything tight. I might have chosen a different setup for the main compartment interior compression straps - but that's an insignificant issue in an otherwise excellent product. For the money - it's the best bag out there, and I'll be ordering another one this week. What I packed: Lrg Fleece Blanket Military Poncho (heavy duty rubberized) w/ stakes and bungies Water Filter Jet Boil Camp Stove (+ 3 fuel canisters) Gerber LMF II knife Camping med kit Signal flares Compass 2-rolls trip wire Monocular Firestarter / lighter and matches 3-liter MSR water bladder 2 days worth of Mountain House dehydrated food 550 cord 1 pr thin gloves Balaclava Heavy fleece neck warmer

I ordered the M.O.L.L.E Assault Backpack a few months ago and I wish I had ordered it sooner. I have used it a few times for day hikes and I am impressed. When I recieved it I took my 4 year old son and zipped him in it, with his head poking out of the top, to judge it's size. It has more than enough room and I can see using it on overnight hiking/camping trips. It's great for the money. I might get my wife one she liked it so much.

I've had this pack for about a year now. Used for hiking, hunting and just regular vacations, i have had no problems. I usually find myself packing extra things just for the hell of it. For this price, there is no better option available. Although it does get hot on your shoulders, it is comfortable(soft shoulder straps and good support). What makes it get hot and cause perspiration is the material that makes it so comfortable. So, you really cant even complain about that. It is capable of holding a bladder for water and has a hole for the tube with velchro around it. There's so many options, you can basically alter it in any way to fit any situation.

Earlier this year I went searching for a 3 day pack that I could use as both a day hike pack, as well as a 72-hour BOB. I looked and looked. I ended up at a recreation outdoor shop here in town, and one of the employees recommended this bag. I wanted something comfortable, durable, rugged, and with plenty of pockets and space to load it up. I have found it in this pack. This pack is about 5500 cubic inches, has areas for all your gear. It has flexibility to add a hydration system (which I still need to do). I like the shoulder straps, chest-strap, and hip-straps. It has a padded back so it's very comfortable to wear - however my back does get a little hot. It has grab handles on the top, and sides. Stiching appears very durable. If your looking for a great 72hr bag, or a bag for day hikes, this is it. Yeah - it's military looking, but so what? It's better then those bright green or orange packs for 300 dollars more, with half the functionality. You can toss this in the dirt and not worry that it's going to rip open. For what I use it for, I'm going to give it 5 bullets.

I picked up this pack to take with me to Southern Africa for a vacation. When my route got changed up and I was booked to go through the Emirates I decided to leave it at home. I am not USG and did not want any hassles. I have used it extensively since then and love the functionality. Whether for a two day trip out of town, a day hike or as a "go bag" in the trunk of my car, this bag is the best I have owned. My MOLLE system first aid bag attaches easily and I always have space for the Camel Back system. Great product!!

I bought this pack from another source and then saw it here at CTD. I wasted more than $20! This pack has everything you could need. But id it doesn't, you still have the MOLLE system to add what you want. You can even add a hydration bladder behind the pack's padding and route the tube through the antenna hole. I spent a week in the bush with this pack, plus a few other MOLLE attachments, not just 3 days!

Really Sweet Pack!!! Really you could fill this thing up with supplies and some rations and live in the wilderness for about three days. It has these really cool snaps on the sides which I use to carry a rifle case and the side pouches are the perfect size for a standard U.S. Military Canteen. The inside has adjustable straps that secure everything you're carrying in there and keep it from rattling around. I use this pack whenever I go hiking, shooting, camping, and once used it as a suitcase (It just barely fit carry-on). Only problem I've found is that one of the pull-strings on the zippers broke off but I fixed it easily enough. Would recommend this pack to anyone!!!

I bought one of these last fall and have used it twice, but keep it packed full of stuff. In those two uses, one of the interior panels has completely torn loose, and one of the exterior cinch buckles has started to tear loose. It's an alright bag, but you definitely get what you pay for here. Dont expect Maxpedition or Tactical Tailor quality.

Take a lighter to all the threads before using it and watch closely. The internal pockets are cheap and so is the stitching, but with care, this pack has already worked well for my hunting pack. It is nice to have addon options like the shotgun shell pouches...

This is the best pack I have ever used! When you buy this pack you will get your moneys worth. When I acquired this pack I was surprised at the quality of the 1000 denier nylon thats the same strength nylon used on my Bates USMC standard issue combat boots.I have tried alice packs and other packs for hiking, camping and training but they could not stand up to the test.I took this pack on a camping trip with me I hiked about 6-8 miles and my pack wieghed 61 pounds and I still had load of space.A few (Irish penants)but nothing big this pack is an excellent buy you are missing out if you dont get one.Go USMC!

This pack has it all: multiple attachment points, enough room to pack a 72-hour kit into, smaller pockets for smaller gear, extra room for even more stuff, and even velcro loops to keep extra straps in place. The only problems that I had with the pack was it had no hydration capatabilites, unless you buy a MOLLE hydration pack, and after about 30-minutes of walking/hiking, the right strap popped and I couldn't fix it until we had RTB'd. I'd suggest to buy some Gorilla duct tape just in case, you'll have room for it!

I got 2 of these packs a black one and the OD one, the black one had some issues with some stitching that came undone and there were no antenna holes where there were supposed to be. other than that these are great packs for the price, I unloaded my large ruck sack into this pack and thought for sure I forgot something because there was so much room left over! holds everything and then some. Has all the features of a pack 3 times the price.

I bought more then 30 of these for my SAR crew, and we only have had a zipper issue with one so far, replaced no problem with CTD. We like the pack, although its big...too big for some smaller people. Not a good day pack, but a great 72 hour bag, or for the larger members of our crew who can hump 80 lbs. Built well, and more then worth the price. Well thought out design.

I purchased this pack style prior to a three month archeological testing and survey project. Ive used this pack continuously for three months with no problems. It holds every piece of equipment I need for the field and then some. The exterior attachment points for extra equipment are superb when I have extended hiking and survey. I have to carry field books, tri-fold military shovel, long tape measures, survey gear, lunch, water, cameras, plus other digging equipment. You cant beat a pack of this type for meeting all your needs.

There's no other pack that can match this in any field. I've used it on trips ranging anywhere from backpacking trips to a two-week-long vacation, and there's nothing else like it. You definately won't be disappointed if you buy this!

I love to camp, and wanted a pack for all my things. This one is awesome. Very large capacity, and has plenty of pouches to organize all your gear. It has a very comfortable shoulder straps. I can't say anything bad about it... It has buckles and pouches all over it. I love the Molle loops on the pack. It's great for clipping gear onto for quick access. It's made of a heavy canvas material. I have no complaints.

This pack is great. So many compartments and so versatile that it can be used for anything. I bought it to use for hunting trips but I bought a black pack to use as a carry-on bag for flying because I can pack so much into it and since it has convenient handles that allow it to be carried like a suit case as well it make getting on and off a plane easy. I hope they come out with one in Army Digital so I can get one for my brother who is leaving for the Army in a few months.

I bought this pack not wanting to spend the money on a more expensive brand name. The pack arrived and one of the (very flimsy) plastic buckles were broken on the shoulder strap. CTD was happy to send me a new pack, but the second one had zipper problems and would not stay closed. My pack does not have to be made of steel, but it needs to do two things: stay on my back and hold my stuff inside-these two did neither. I sent the second pack back and told them not to bother with strike three. On the upside, the pack was very well organized and had a lot of interior pockets/pouches so things stay seperate and organized inside the pack. If they could work out the other stuff, this could be a good pack at a great price. Of course, CTD staff was very helpful with my reurns and that part of it went well. Unfortunately, the pack lived up to the company name-Cheaper than Dirt.

Cool four way zipper so you can open the bag when seated and get to stuff on either side or top without it all spilling out. Most bags have two zippers, but with four you can lots of access to your geat when riding on a truck so you can grap something without hoisting the bag into your lap. Nice rugged pack that looks just like the military pack but costs less. Nice pack because it is designed to carry lots of gear and still put more Molle pouches on the outside as well. Inside has a little office area for note pads, pens and such. I could not think of an improvement except to have more colors to pick from.
