Nice Mask's I orderd (2) I knew the filters where expierd already. But I dont understand the numbers? 82 over 214? last to 2014? and the other 82 over 205 last to 2005? I dont care really, I bought new sealed filters they are sealed will last to 2025. These masks are great! no leaks! I dont think theres a exp on masks, as long as there is no leaks its safe. 1 came with a drinking tube and the other didnt I dont really mind because I wont be needing it. A+ Cheaperthandirt These look small when you get but will fit all sizes. Yes the instuction manual is in english! Boxes where opened I guess to remove the atropine. Thats way past exp date. Both sealed in package. little dusty from storeage

I have had an old Israeli civilian mask from the late 70s - early 80s. This one is much better of a design, but they both work perfectly. The mask I got is from 1994 and has no rubber oxidation(white dryrot dust) but the filter is from 1994 as well. It's five years expired but getting a new MSA NBC filter is no big deal at all. This is the ONLY mask you need to buy from this web site if you're wanting something that can protect you. The others listed are just too old and outdated to work safely. Not to mention with the other masks you can't buy new filters(Czech M10) since they aren't made anymore. Buy Israeli!

I got this mask in today and put it on right away. It made a great seal the first time I tried I put it on. To my surprise the visibility is excellent too. I wanted to get one with a full front lens, but I can barely notice the seem between the two.

this mask is very high quality for the price and seems durable. I got my mask in the mail today and I can get a seal right away! the filter is outdated but I expected that,still good for heavy smoke. :) NOTE: wash out the drinking tube before use or watever you drink will have a rubbery taste. This mask came new as described, everything worked. Filter is old but expected, good for use against smoke but not NBC. (The mask will protect from NBC despite some rumers) I had fun just putting it on to drink out of the drinking tube. This is over all a perfect mask with very high quality.

i got my mask today it took it took ten days to get here but thats ok. the mask exceeded my expectations it is NEW the rubber is very soft and elastic it came with instructions and drinking tube buy this mask before the price goes up you wont be dissapointed.

I have now bought six of these masks... me, my wife, our sons and our daughters. I also bought two replacement filters for each of them. All I can say after examining the masks are... "Israeli- when you care enough to use the very best."

I bought two of these for me and my wife. I ordered Sunday night at 1 AM and they were delivered Thursday morning, with standard ground. I love the fact you can see on CTD who picked your item, who packed your item and when it shipped. This is a great feature!!! Wow, I am really satisfied with these masks! They were both brand new, no surplus stink or anything. Both seals and gaskets were flawless! I even got a tight seal with my (short) beard!!!! The only reason I did not give 5 bullets was the filter. Just going by the looks of it, it has to be well past expiration. Good for maybe cleaning the bathroom but I bought a few brand new m95 filters brand new. Also, the below comment about Approved Gas Masks.com is false. This mask IS NOT LISTED ON THIER EXPIRED LIST. Got mine an hour ago. I have had several different types over the years, and this one was the simplest I have ever seen to put on quickly and get a 100% seal fast. Took less than 10 seconds, and I could have sucked my eyeballs out when testing the seal. I even have a goatee and that created no problem at all. Look like new, and no sign of degradation of the rubber. I really yanked the straps also,....no babying. Obviously if you are buying this for the true purpose, then you should get a new 40mm Nato element. One thing I found strange was the Hebrew sticker on the outside of the box is dated 2002? Maybe that was when they were exported as surplus,....don't really know the answer to that one. I didn't buy this due to the "flu" thing, I work in an industrial facility from time to time, and have to work from a lift up close to the rafters on occasion. The ancient buildup that contains everything in the world is horrible when disturbed, and dust masks just don't cut it, plus it gets into your eyes also. That is my purpose for it.

Sweet mask

when i purchased this mask it was on sale. i thought it would look cool and be fun to wear so i got it. i was suprised that when it came in the mail it was so, real. it has exelent construction and really works in the way of filtering the air and keeping a good seal. i put it to the test when i was cleaning my bathroom the other day with the windows and doors closed. i was dizzy and chocking from the bleach in the air so iput the mask on. i could no longer smell, taste, or be dizzyed from the bleach. i was amazed with the quality for such a low price! an exelent mask! i would suggest getting it and give it a 5 out of 5. not to mention it will probably help keep out the swine flu! it works great. now if there is a bad smell or something of the like in the air, you dont have to plug your nose and mouth breathe.

I got this in the mail today and it really is in good shape. the only reason i gave it 4 instead of 5 is you can tell it may be unsed but it is still a little dated. Good product bought from a great company.

I am impressed. Got some and disassembled one to evaluate. They look great and seem trustworthy, but caution! If you disassemble the intake you may find that the rubber is degrading slowly in a place that is vital and unseen. By all means buy a few, but do some preservation and repairs on them before you need them. I'm surprised that CTD does not carry additional filters for these Isreali models - as they are in the market. preserve the rubber and really be careful about the straps dry rotting on you. When you are scared you might tend to pull too hard on the straps and break them.

Absolutely wonderful, the lenses and rubber are in perfect shape, and it even came with the instruction manual in hebrew, arabic, russian, and english. Also came in original packaging, with hebrew label on box. Also had the drinking tube AND a plastic piece so you could train what it's like to breathe with a filter on without actually having the filter. My only nags are the fact that the filter was made in 1984, and they took the atrophine syringe out. lol 5 bullets nonetheless, and with a new filter, I would trust it for anything. P.S, even though I got the basic shipping, it only took 2 days to get here!

these gas masks are the best, the filters have a 5 year shelf life so your gana have to hit ebay up for new filters but they are wel worth the money, if you get it any where else its over a hundred bux. i got one for my boyfriend he works for a haunted house in ftworth, and we painted it and dont really use it for bio terrists but its cool and functional .. ive get 2 more for the house!!

These masks are great investments for the price. Fit and function perfectly. The rubber is still soft and not old, dry, and rotting. Filter came sealed brand new, but invest in new ones if you can. As for the comments about the masks being out of date, that is true.... if you plan on being in the middle of a nuclear or biological attack. And if you are, spend the hundreds of dollars on a new mask AND a chem suit. Mask ain't worth jack if your body is melting. Just depends on what you think your life is worth i guess. However, in a chemical attack, ie. tear gas, cs, mass pepper spray, riot type situation, these masks will work fine.

Good mask, intructions are in several languages and are read from back to front, can be difficult to understand but then again, its a mask so how much do you need. Only reason it doesnt get 5 bullets is because you may have trouble finding filters.

Got two of these in today and they worked great but how do you determine the true age of the filter? Anybody out there that really knows and where can you get a fairly new filter?

The reviews are correct. This item is the real McCoy. Quality is not an issue! In addition, I have a goatee and thought that sealing this mask would be, well...impossible. Nope, the chin piece goes far enough to ensure a proper seal and in testing it I almost popped a vein! Remeber to read the book from back to front...that's the way the Israeli's get it done!!

this gas mask is very nice and it is easy to use but the filters are about to expire when i got it and they fog up easy so if you use one for a shop or something i sugest buying the om10.

Sealed new in the box, obviously opened to take out nerve gas antidote. Filter does have a shelf life, so its no good. Put it together, tested for leaks, nada.. perfect air tight seal. I don't see how people can say this has a 20 year shelf life, airtight seals and a new filter is enough for me. Either way this was a great deal!

Hey Meerkat, you hit the nail dead square center. So correct you are in saying gas masks do not go bad. I just ordered a box full of these but only after doing as much research as I could. If the Israeli government designed these units for their civilian population, thats good enough for me. Now don't get me wrong, I saw a couple of reviews from other sites that claim these masks are nearing the end of their service life and that had me thinking, but I ordered them anyway. It takes a lot to impress me, but I was very impressed. These units look and feel like they were made last week. I mean like come on, how "new" can a product be. If it were a 20 year old can of spam I would think about not getting it, but believe me I made a good choice with these. They all have the drinking tube and the manuel. Hebrew is so cool even if I can't read it. That in itself is a piece of history. The filter is nestled inside a plastic cage which rest inside the mask helping it to keep its form. I slapped it on my pretty head, pulled on the bottom straps then the top ones. Its like looking thru a big screen tv from the inside. I can see everything, even ole Bessie grazing out in the pasture. The kids said I looked like an anteater, but I thought I kinda looked like Darth Vader. Oh well. So I placed the palm of my hand over the air intake (without the filter attached of course) to check the seal. Hell, I most 'bout smother cated befo I moved my hand. That baby seals, unlike what I read on one of them other sites that wanted to sell me a hundred and fifty dollar mask. I will agree with those that recommend getting new filter canisters but the one that came with my units are sealed front and back.I think they are still serviceable also but just like a car tire, ya need extras. I like my box of mask so much I just ordered more, and oh, FedEx was really downtown on getting my order delivered. It was just meant to be for me to get these quality masks. I'm mo happy than a blood tick in Lilly's ear. Do not put it off any longer, get 'em while ya can-----

Got two of these masks. they are made of rubber, but are very good. the filter is all metal, very easy to assemble too. but remember if ur hair is just long enough, it like to pull it. other than that they are worth it. you can use it for anything cuz it also covers your eyes.

I just got mine yesterday and good thing I did. I was presented with a good situation in which to try it. I took it over to my friends house to show him and his wife (who isn't all there) dumped BOTH ammonia and bleech in their garage! Don't as me why. Needless to say the two were mixin and even making some sounds loud enough to here outside. So we asked her, she told us, and I went in. For those of you who don't know that combo is pretty much mustard gas. I know it was dumb of me to walk in it but I was fine! Mask worked with out a flaw! (Still don't do what I did kids)

your all wrong the gas mask is fine just the filters are bad gas masks don't go bad this is the best deal you will ever find and this comes in a box with Aravic or something on it and instructions with english in the BACK idiots it's Hebrew so it reads from right to left

Great mask. Arrived in great condition. Buy a filter thread converter so you can run the latest NATO filters.

The mask is solid. High quality and heavy duty.

We ordered 7 masks and they all arrived quickly and in excellent condition. The boxes had been opened and resealed, probably for inventory, but the masks were all clearly brand new and packed in plastic bags. The rubber is soft and the valves are supple. They seal easily to the face and the filters are obviously new and still sealed with the Israeli seal. The drinking tube attaches easily and the one way valve works good. Each mask came with a manual in four languages. You have to read them back to front, as their language of origin is Hebrew. Good mask, good value.

This is a GREAT mask, but: 1) Go ahead and buy the new NATO filter, and use the one that comes with it for practice with some heavy smoke. Even though the filter that comes with it is probably reliable, it is only sealed with a piece of tape. The new NATO filter (sold separately), comes sealed in a strong, thick, plastic baggie, and it also appears to be water-proof. 2) What happened to the two Atrapine Injections mentioned in the instruction book?!? :) [just kidding, although they WOULD be nice to have, just in case]. 3) Buy TWO of them... ...one for the car, and one for the house!!! You never know when you'll be out driving on the highway, suddenly come upon a de-railed train carrying Anhydrous Ammonia!!!

This Israeli M15 mask was 1st class, never issued condition. I order 4 mask for my family just in case of anything happening (you never know) I will order some new NBC filters the one that it came with are fine but pushing exp. Date, but for the price that’s no big deal. My family and I all achieved a fit test. I am a really big guy and the mask was just big enough for me but sealed fine, I would recommend this mask to all friends and family in a time of uncertainty. In closing if you never need it you wasted your money but if you were to need it what would it be worth to you and your family? And it shipped faster than anything I ever received in the past.

I ordered two of the M15 to check them out but was I in for a suprise. These mask are excellent quality, i told a friend about them and he went to the web site and was amazed at the price, he purchased a couple of similar ones a few years ago and paid over 100.00 each. When he sees my mask he said that he will order a couple extra for that price! I also ordered some other items and they too were of high quality good job CTD keep up the good work. I will be ordering additional mask soon with spare filters!

Unless you are planning to wear this with a halloween costume or for collecting don't buy it. I found out these mask have a lifespan of 20 years and the ones being sold have dates between 1980 and 1990 so they are either expired or have a few years left in them. Don't let the low prices fool you as they did me!

I got this preparing for a potential SHTF scenario. Came with English and Hebrew instructions, although I have yet to figure out how to use the drinking tube. When you put on the filter it makes the mask lean forward and sort of heavy, I suppose it'll help you build up your triceps. Fully adjustable by head size, perfect seal against my face even with a full beard. Strong rubber smell which dissipates over time. Large goggle lenses great for seeing things better. Also good for Halloween costume with a practical purpose.

Came with instructions in Israeli, English and some other language. You have to read the booklet back to front. Tested in a steamy sauna, the lenses didn't fog up, the air didn't feel boiling hot (although my body did) and is very easy to adjust once you have it on. Fits snug and securely, if not a bit heavy, but that'll take some getting used to. Never know when TSHTF, so it's good to get one now.

I was extremely surprised and satisfied by the overall condition of the M-15 mask I received. It is in new condition, came with a manual and was manufactured after 1990. The mask and all seals I could inspect without disassembly were supple, pliable and appeared to be fully serviceable. The mask is even in better shape than a few I’ve worn into the gas chamber while on active duty. After careful inspection, I could not find any evidence of dry rot or any visible signs of degradation due to age anywhere on the mask. The only missing item was the obnoxious neck strap that allows the mask to be worn around the neck for immediate donning. I’ve removed that strap from other Israeli masks because it can frequently interfere in the quick donning of the mask. I have enough confidence in this mask to enter a CBR environment IF it is fitted with a new and current issue NATO filter.

goes great with my afro wig poppin out of the straps for halloween or crump dancing only thing i didnt like was the brown filter but a can of black spray paint fixed that right up, now all thats left is to tint the lenses, yessirrrr!!

The M-40 gas mask that our forces currently use can be fitted with perscription lenses. I was in the army for 6 1/2 years and went to war over in iraq. I can tell you that you should not buy a gas mask for personal protection unless it has been fitted and accepts nato filters. You also have to be clean shaven for them to work. You must practice with them and keep them fairly close to you at ALL times for them to do you any good. Buying a mask online without fitting is suicide. However, most men should be a medium and women a small. I knew very few people who wore a large gas mask. If you buy a mask from this or any other sight isreali is the way to go.

I just received the four masks I ordered (one for each member of the family.) These are excellent masks! All four came with instruction brochures printed in Hebrew, arabic, English and Russian. Now that I have them, I hope I never need them, which beats needing them and not having them. The movie "Right at your door" is right on point, about a terrorist attack on Los Angeles, using chemical, biological and dirty nuke weapons. I have said it before and will say it again- "Israeli- When you care enough to use the very best."

Let me start by saying that i love america, but i hate our force's gas mask. it takes bout 30 minutes to set up for use whereas this israeli gas mask took me 5 seconds to screw on the filter and put on my face. the drinking tube works well with pop cans. plus, there is no weird rubber smell.

This mask is great. When I got it I took some smoke grenades and threw them in my old storage shed and used this mask to walk in there when it filled up with smoke. Well lets just say I could've sat in there all day. I couldnt even smell anything much less tell I was breathing it in. Anyway its a great mask dont let this deal pass you up.

Just got the mask in the mail! The mask was brand new in the box and looked great. i tested the straps and they seemed rugged enough. The mask fits perfectly and is adjustable for very large to very small sizes. First trying on the mask I noticed right away the rubber was soft and made a good contact and the mask itself was air tight. The only exception being the instructions are in Hebrew but the pictures are simple enough to understand, if anyone out there doesn't know how to use a gas mask they have issues.

I purchased one of these not too long ago, and all in all it's a very nice buy, only one problem- my head's too big... it's hard to breathe through the nose, and I really wish it could accomodate the use of eyeglasses, which I also pretty much am doomed to have. If anyone knows where to get one that does, I'd love the feedback, lol. Otherwise if your head is not large or x-large, this may not be for you.

This is the best gas mask I have ever bought!! It came in brand new condition. Any one can figure out how to screw on the filter and the water hose. Very easy to use and put on.

This appears to be a quality item, but contrary to what it states online there is no instruction brochure. Good luck figuring it out.

Better than the M-10 but still not on par with the M-95, this gas mask will provide the highest level of protection for the lowest amount of money. Grab an extra filter or two and don't forget your pro KI tablets.
