The gas mask was a good bargain for the price and was worth it. It came in good shape. I found it easy to breathe in it, but my voice sounded a bit weird when talking through it. The description says that it can protect you from nuclear material but I doubt that, however I wouldn't be willing to test it out for myself. Still I would recommend to anyone to buy this gas mask.

You can not beat this deal. The mask I had in the military was slightly better, but by price comparison, there is no comparison. Every thing was in perfect condition, and sealed properly. I would recommend this to any one. Be sure to put the filters in as soon as you get it. You would not be able to hold your breath as long as it takes to install the filters and adjust the fit.

these are the best mask they dont fog up there not toys they are industrial rubber you cant tear them i got a canvas bag not like the one shown so that was a great surprise the filters are pretty hard to get in but you'll get it.

Bought 12 for Christmas. Bet they won't be expecting this. Masks are all in great condition and came with a canvas bag.

ALSO..... came with CANVAS bag not the rubber like the picture. i know description says styles vary but dont count on rubber. fits snug in canvas. would have preferred rubber.

I love this mask. I tested with smoke, works great. I probably won’t need it for nuclear or biological, but can use it in riots against tear gas or other deterrents.

This is likely one of the best purchases Ive made from this site. The rubber is real thick and tough, but still very flexible, and process of assembling the mask was very intuitive.. I will likely buy another just for the bag that came with it, very durable and good looking cloth bag, great for light travel, etc. Back to the mask, it does nto have a voice-box, so it is hard to speak to people while wearing it... it is comfortable to breathe through, and the double lens system prevents fogging. If you think you may want this, Get it, at thsi proce, what is there to regret?

great gas mask came with drink tube and spare lenses 4 bullets because it took me a good 20 minutes to get the filter in second one was a piece of cake because i knew how to do it dont know what the hell the grey piece is for an instuction manual would be nice thanks ctd!!!!!

i bought one ov these 0m10 nbc masks. they are a good deal. the price is right ,replacement filters are a good price. they work well with the chemical hood and carrying case for the US M17 nbc mask. the filters are in the cheek so you do have to remove the mask to change them but if you're in a hazardous area long enough to have to change the filters, you're there too long. i prefer the filters inside anyway so they dont get hung up on things. any way its a good buy!!!!!

I've purchased both this mask and the Finnish model, and here are some notes on the differences between the two: The bags: Finnish by a mile. The Finnish bag is made of sturdy canvas with quick release snaps on the outside, a couple of sewn in compartments on the inside held shut with a canvas flap that snaps closed with regular metal snaps. Feels good, looks good, and it will probably be my next caving bag. Next CTD order might include a few more Finnish masks just for the bags and give the gas masks away. The OM10's bag is waterproofed, has two separate compartments, and is slightly larger. The major point loss comes from the hard to use snaps on both compartments and the flimsy feeling straps. They look and feel like they're made from duct tape and the clips and slide are made of plastic. Neither bags are essential to the value of the mask, but it's just a little added bonus. The masks: Comfort: OM10. Fits my face better (your mileage may vary), less resistance on the exhale. I wear glasses, and neither will fit, but there's more room in the front of the OM10 if you want to mount an old pair then. You might also be able to slip the lenses between Ease of use: Finnish by a mile. A child could figure out how to attach the filter, and if you get your hands on extra filters, they can be replaced without taking the mask off. The OM10 requires jamming it into the inside of the mask, fumbling with plastic snaps to keep it in place, and then screwing the one-way vents on to the outside. Quality of filtering: I don't have the equipment to compare, but the gut reaction leans to the Finnish model. The fact that it comes with neutralization chemicals and wipes makes me think that it was more optimized for serious threats. I wouldn't trust either for NBC, but the odds of that are low enough that worrying about it is a waste. I'm much more likely to need it for things like smoke, or cleaning out a moldy basement, and would trust both of them equally. For use as a costume/airsoft/paintball accessory: OM10. The Finnish mask looks weird without the filter, and unless you want to cut it open and take the filter material out of the cartridge, it's hard to breathe while moving around. The OM10 can be used without the filters, and the design of it is such that it's easy to remove the one-way valves but keep the fittings in place. Caveat: I bought the Finnish mask for a costume, but I needed the specific look and I'm going to retrofit it for comfort. Both get 5 out of 5, because both offer a good deal for the value. Pick whichever one suits you, or just get both. If I ordered another, it'll be the Finnish mask, simply because of the bag. If I order a dozen, it'll be the OM10 simply because I'm a cheep bastard.

got 2 both look new with drink tubes extra lens caps cantine cap and foil sealed filters. the powder stuff on it that everyone speaks of is so the rubber dont stick to itself just like a box of rubber gloves.every thing was in as new shape. the only drawback i found was the filters are such a tight fit they are hard to get in. if you ever need this you better have the filters in it first cause it takes about 5 mins to put them in.

Ordered 2 on saturday, and got 'em today. Both of the masks came with the filters in the original foil, extra lenses, and they both came with a NBC canteen cap. The bags are in really good condition too, no rust or anything. good deal.

I ordered three masks. only 2 came with outer lens covers. Only 1 had a drinking tube(drink tube isn't that important to me). What upsets me is that only 1 had filters in the foil packaging. The other to were as far as i can tell opened and then resealed in plastic. one of the resealed filters actually looks rusted and completely un-usable. so unless I can find filters somewhere 2 of the masks as far as I'm concerned are useless. On the bright side the rubber is in good condition and the bag is pretty cool. If the filters were in foil this would be a great deal(5 bullets).

I ordered 6 of these and they arrived the next day. 4 look brand new and unissued and have the drink tubes. The other 2 look to be in great shape, but the filters were only sealed in plastic, not foil and plastic like the first 4. These look to be very usable masks if the need arises. Only problem I have is that extra filters can't be found anywhere. I guess I'll have to buy some more just to get the filters.

I bought two of these and they came wrapped nicely and separately in plastic. Seem brand new and pretty sturdy. Only 4 bullets because mine didnt come with drink tubes :( Other than that they're great for this price!!

Picked up one of these for my son to use for Airsoft. Planning on gutting the filters so as to retain the original look but to make it easier to breath when playing (not sure if breathing through 19 year old filters would be a good idea anyway, even though they were brand new and packed in airtight foil, and again in sealed plastic) Came with the drink tube adapter, and the second lenses as well as the new filters, a white residue on the mask itself, cleaned off with a little soapy water and some scrubbing. Over all, a great deal for what we wanted it for!

I Just Got 2 In The Mail yesterday..They Needed Cleaning But For The Price And What Your Getting You Cant Go Wrong! You'll Not Find Theses Mask Any Cheeper Anywhere Else

I received two of thease yesterday one didnt come with the strap to hold it to your face, the other had white stuff all over it but I think it will clean up CDT is sending out another which I think is great and perhaps will have two compleated mask overall kinda cool although i have no ideal what the little grey thing is for or what language the sealed filters came from I think for the money and CDT severice you cant go wrong if notheing else not everyone on the block has one LOL

I have read that these things are absolutely worthless. I ordered two of them to see if I can find some new filters to make them useful. The filters are too old to be of any use and they say they aren't for NBC use. Personally I won't be using the old filters that are 20-30yrs old. They can, by themselves, be harmful. I will try to see if I can track down filters that will fit this thing though that are REALLY new, not just in a 30yr-old sealed bag. Would make for a good shop mask though if you can get dust filters to fit.

Mine are all new and in unissued condition. But the rubber materials are degrading, so ya gotta do some preservation work to stop the rotting process. The coin shaped rubber flap valves may need to be replaced with fresh rubber washers - or at least gather the replacement parts so you can do repairs as needed. Disassemble and study it in detail. Wash it completely before you insert filters. Filters are OLD, perhaps create new filters for it. Drinking tubes don't work as they are - something is missing and I don't get it. But still a great investment.

It's a great gas mask for the price. Very sturdy, completely sealed up, fits great, and very comfortable. It comes with extra lenses (or mine did). You cannot beat a piece of mind for the price. I bought one for my whole family. I'm not sleeping in my bathtub at night waiting on a biochemical attack or anything, but you know what they say, if you wait 'til it happens, it's too late. Best purchase I've made in a while.

I recieved this mask today and to tell the truth i couldnt tell that it was used.I think when the stuff hits the fan this will be a great mask to have and well worth the money.It has some items that i have no clue what they are for but im sure i'll figure it out.

Okay first off it got here FAST.about a day ahead of schedule which is always nice. The bag for it is o.d. green rubber canvas which is durable and water proof. The bag itself holds both the mask,filters,a few rounds of ammo and some various other items including the spare lenses. Also it has the components for a hydration bladder to fit on tightly. the mask itself was in good condition save for the slight degrade in the rubber but nothin to serious.u rub it and a little bit of powdery stuff comes off.either way a good wash and scrub and it's clean.There is no instruction manual but you don't really need on as it's so simple to put together.I love it!so not a waste of cash.

I first got it a little under a month ago and I love it the bag was in better condition than everyone in the reveiws made it out to be I also got an M-10, no drinking tube, not an M-10m, which had the drinking tube, And I know that people complained about getting this kind of mask but it is worth a lot more than the other. My only complaint is that I read about people getting extra filters and I did not o well

For the price you can't go wrong. Filters that come with it should last you long enough to get out of the danger area should the ---- hit the fan. Filters are no problem, just go to mainemilitary on the web and they have new sealed filters for the mask. Better to have it and never need it than God forbid you need it and don't have one. Sort of like a fire ext.

I got a couple of these masks about 2 years ago. They are very easy to work with, and they arent bad masks. But when I purchased them, Extra filters were on sale on this site for like 5 bucks a set. Now that they arent, I will not be buying any more of this model mask unless they start selling replacement filters again (hint hint).

i have had this mask since february and i am just writing a review. it foged up for me at first but i tightend it up and it worked fine with no fogging. my bag was a little rusty on the buttons. mine came with extra lenses, drink tube, and this other little piece that i dont know what is for. i only gave it 4 stars because i tried to drink something from the drink tube and i couldnt. overall it is a very nice mack and i will try to spray paint it OD green or black

This is a great gas mask best for this price. The only flaw is it fogs up pretty good. Other than that the filters look brand new and easy to fit to your head and can be easily put on. I would recommend it to anyone for this price.

The OM10 mask works great for things like spray painting, weed killer and the such but as far as nuke, chem, and bio... I would not stake my life on it. Over all a good mask for the now ridiculously low price of 7.50!

Guys, I have to say this gas mask is so worth it. It looked new but the bag had rust on it probably was from where it was stored.. But hell, I love this gas mask. In the future, I just might buy some more. And it came with extra lenses, and it had the drinking tube. Everything was sealed, which was reassuring. 5 stars!!!!

I received my Czech gas mask which is a copy of the M-17 gas mask. It was a pain to get the filters in the mask but it all worked out in the end. The mask and bag I received were in excellent condition and shall serve me well. I ordered the mask on Wed.night and it was at my police dept. on Friday. Fast delivery.

I've had my mask for several months now and just now got around to writing a review. For the price there really is nothing to complain about, you just can't beat that price for a working gas mask. It works great if you are painting or burning lots of smokey brush. However, it is worth mentioning that the description says it can be warn with glasses. This is both true and false, it does fit over glasses, but it cannot properly seal around the temples. I've tried this with numerous styles of eyeglasses and sunglasses and it would not seal for any of them. So if you are nearly blind like I am and you want this mask as a safety device you may want to look into getting contacts.

I bought this on Sunday and it got here on Tuesday, very quick delivery. Everything is there and in one piece, the filters are still in their original sealed packs, the bag is there, a couple replacement lenses and everything else. The mask's shape is still good, no deformation from the packing. The seal and everythign works, no leaks. The only problem I have is that the bag is a little tough to close all the way. It's a great buy if you're looking for something that works without spending $100+.

I just picked 8 up for the family. I cant afford $50 dollar gas masks. I had some trouble putting it together at first and there are no real instructions to draw from. But for $10 bucks, come on guys this is a deal and a half. I have recommended to friends and plan on buying 8 more just for the filters if I cant get them elsewhere. GET IT NOW! I purchased 2 of these gas masks with the pleather carring bag. Opened one of the masks, left the other still in it's plastic wrapping. Looking at both of the masks neither one has the drinking tube. The picture show drinking tubes. The advertising copy states ...most have a drink tube (no choice). The masks both have the #1 molded on them, I must have a big head because I really needed the #2 size. #1 is for the small head #2 is for a bigger head. The mask's, I received are the OM10. The mask with OM10M, is the mask with the drinking tube. Price is not a problem

i bought 1 of these masks the bag was nice but the ad says its NBC but after some resurch its not it was made as a riot controll mask it is worthless in a nbc situation. only good for painting or somthing like that.for NBC i sugest a British s10 or U.S.m40

I got one because it looked really good for a mask to wear around chemicles or paint and it is, after you get it set up. Before you put it near your face and put the filters in soak it under water for a day mine came full of a chemicle that was so bad it gave me a headache in like 1 min! Then put the filters in, that is really tight fit and kinda hard! then the mask is awesome

I saw the review's and so I ordered 4 of these, the bags where all dry rotted so bad there less that worthless junk. The masks on the otherhand are in pretty good shape and seem to be in good working order. Buy the Finnish mask and you will get a good mask and a good bag. Guess theres a reason our armed force's and the germans dumped this style of mask.

Amazing Deal! I first wondered what all the hoopla was about when reading these reviews. Then after I got mine and found how well they're made I decided to buy more -- for ALL my friends! At $10. a pop it's the best peice of mind money can buy! They create a perfect airtight seal around the face, they're totally adjustable AND the green durable rubberized carrying case comes with an extra compartment in the case AND they come with 2 extra eye window pieces that fit perfectly over the existing ones creating a double paned effect -- I suspect that's for safety's sake.

i was dissecting my mask and found out that it is the M10M gas mask and i went to google a typed it in and found extra filters and more accessories for it. and the gray plug that comes with it is a water adapter. i think it is a great mask

Mask is well made but it will take patience getting the filters in as well as the clear eye protectors. I would have given this 5 stars but I have had no luck finding extra filters for the om10 style masks.

I bought two of these masks about a year ago, and was always curious of they would work. This weekend we took them to top fuel drag races and stood in the "yellow cloud". Normally we would have been coughing, gagging and crying from the fumes, But instead we just laughed at other people that didn't have masks. Great Product, especially for the price.

this mask is almost the same mask the US military used in the late 90's I loved it then and I love the one I purchesed mine came wit a spair set of lenses and filters will recomend to anyone.

Just bought the second of two masks and both in excellent shape. Easy to install the filters and the second came with extra lens. Both have drinking tubes. Unless you are totally inept it only takes a couple of minutes to put together and I have tried it out on several different "odors" and it works just fine.

I got 2 of these and they both had extra lenses and 4 filters for each mask and with bags unused but no drinking tube, great deal.

Overall I like this mask...easy for me to assemble and disassemble. Unfortunately the filters on this mask are outdated being around 20+ years old. I wouldn't recommend getting this for nuclear or biological attacks. Like the other before me said, it was only designed for tear gas, but it is a good gas mask for a collector.

I like this mask alot, but I gave it 3 bullets since all the other reviews said they got spare lenses, but mine did not. I was wearing this today for an airsoft skirmish (preperations for a large game next weekend). The mask fits nice and makes a nice tight seal. I was surprised that being hot here in Florida, it did not fog up much. What little fog I did have it only took a couple of deep breaths in to clear. Good product, just missing the lenses.

i got one of these masks. i got one with a drinking tube. these masks are tuff to put together i spent an hour putting it together. then when i tried the drinking tube a sand type material can out into my mouth. but i only use to sray bleach in my basement to kill mold and spray paint so i cant complane it is worth $10.00 no more.

Do your research if you are looking for a serious mask, these are only effective against Tear Gas. Also be aware that some older expired filters contain chromium toxicity and could be dangerous (I have found no data that says these ones do however). Other than that good for the price. The Israeli M-15 with a new M95 filter is the best cheapest option.

I wanted to order one of these gas masks, but I was a little concerned about the condition of what I would get, based on reviews I'd read. It's only $10, but still I was concerned. Anyhow, my order arrived promptly and the gas mask was in excellent condition. There have been some bad reviews, but for $10 it's worth the gamble for a gas mask in great shape.

I ordered 4 masks and recieved them the next day. two of the four sets came with extra filters and the bags were not all the same but after filter install. i performed a positive and negative feed check with pepper spray and these are great for the price. thanks ctd!

Well I cleaned this bad boy up and put the filters in and everything was ready to go. Those were a bit of a hassle at first, but no problem. So the first test that we do on all of our gas masks at DPSF is to get a nice shot of 8% OC pepper spray in the face. Well it filtered out some but still left me coughin and burning. If it couldnt even hold up against medium grade pepper spray I wouldn't imagine it could do anything NBC... (and yes the filters were in right)

Well, I was a little skeptical at first, but after tearing into the first one I was very impressed. All 6 of mine came with drinking tubes but, the other 2 that i ordered without bags,(not sure why I did that) dont have drinking tubes. I recommend ordering one of these and one of the other 10 dollar finnish mask, the bag is alot better and it comes with extras, or it did in my case, some cleaning powder and a blue rag in a vaccuum bag, all and all, these masks are excellent. To put them together its pretty simple the filters are left and right and go inside the mask where the cheek is, you fit the seal around the hole and then screw in the other part and it will flush up the seal on the filter. The eye pieces need to be attached by folding back the rubber seal and working them around the lenses. I am still searching for a good bottle to attach the drinking tube adapter to. I highly recommend rinsing the masks out before you install the filters and also rinse the drinking tube, otherwise your in for a surprise flavored drink.

Just arrived in the mail, everything is as it was adversited only thing is it did not come with any directions and i am having a hard time figuering out how to set it up.

This is a pretty sweet "protective" mask. The only reason i got this is because its from the czech republic. also because there might be a Nuclear, Biological, or Chemical war...but probably not. i gave this a four because the filters were kind of hard to get in...but on the other hand the replacement filters were a pretty good snag. IT ALSO LOOKS PRETTY SWEET!

I like the mask overall. The filters are a bit of a pain to get in. The mask itself was a bit dirty. For the price and the extra filters I would say it is worth the buy. It is kind of unique looking as well.

I just received my OM10 Gas Mask, it was sealed with 2 sealed filters and an extra sealed set of lenses. I'm surprised with the quality of the product! My only complaint is there were no instructions with the item. After some research and reading all the reviews I found out that the extra piece I wasnt certain about was a piece for a canteen or water bottle. I managed to get a canteen and fit the attachment onto the canteen, and connected the hose to it, but I cant get any water through it. If anyone can tell me how to use this mouth piece I would appreciate it! Top notch Item! Thanks CTD!

I got my mask the other day, cleaned them and am very happy. The only problem is that the M17 Filters look just like the M10 and I bought a bunch of those. The cheek inlet vent covers don't match.

I ordered 3 and all arrived new in plastic. A real bargain, and may possibly be handy to have around.

Got everything 3 days from the time I ordered and everything was with it. The mask had a little plastic residue left on the inside but I just washed it out a bit and it's good to go. Excellent for anything from standing in tear gas to scaring kids on Halloween. Thanks CTD.

i just got it in yesterday in from the mail. great buy olny thing is that the mask olny came in with one cheek screw so i have an hole in the side of the mask where the other cheek screw should be, so i took the cap off one of the filters and rubber cemented it in so i can have it work, not too upset about the lost cheek filter becasue it is surplus im just making it work with what i have

I bought 2 of these, One for me. One for my wife. I couldn't be happier. They are not too difficult to use and they aren't too annoying to wear. I wiped mine down good they had some residue on them even though they were sealed. A+ in my book

Ordered numerous masks and was fortunate enough to get them all w/ drinking tubes. Only one bag had a bit of dirt and one had a duct tape label with a #2 on it. The bags seem to be descent water resistant quality material. Despite some of the reviews, I found the filters easy to put in after a little messing around (wide end first). The rubber is resilient, comfortable and forms a good seal. The "extra" lenses go over the original lenses (took a glass of whiskey to figure that one out). Got these for a SHTF scenario, and for use while working (maybe Halloween too). Well worth $10. Researched filter availability, and they seem inexpensive and easy to get. Only reason I didn't give it 5 bullets is because I haven't had anyone spray me with any chemical agents yet, and I don't plan on testing it near any fallout to see how well it performs.

I got my mask and it was great!! The thing that suprized me is that it wasent wight it was green. Biu id reckmend getting the one with the bag sell the bag and get a better one. but it works well and will buy from here again

If you want one of these masks get the cheaper one without the bag. The bag went in the garbage because half the buttons were rusted off. The extra eye lenses actually go on a chemical hood so you cant use them with the mask. The only good thing i can say is the mask was sealed in a plastic bag with a drink tube, new i would assume, with only ONE set of sealed filters, an insert that fits into a water bottle for the drink tube, and the screw caps that hold the filters in.

I like it. It is a good mask. And there are alot of East European police forces using it. My only problem is that it is not compatable for those of us who wear glasses. I debated on taking those popout lenses that come with it and getting them for my prescription. But that would not be very cheap.

I got the bag with new mask in sealed bag - extra lenses & all that stuff . I do have a part or 2 I have no clue what to do with - is there a site with instructions ? The filters took me about 3 minutes each to get in . I don't get the whining that it is not exactly like expensive gas masks ? If you want a Porsche but want to pay Pinto price - don't complain when you get a Camaro . For the $ this thing is fantastic !

I just recieved my OM10 Gas Mask, it came brand new in a seal plastic bag with brand new extra Lens sealed in plastic also,never opened, 2 sets of new filters sealed in plastic with a new carry bag. Mask has drinking tube and the piece that fits into the top of the canteen or water pouch. I am very impressed with this item for the price. Everything was new and sealed which impressed me even more. It took only a couple of minutes to install the filters and the mask seals to the face very well and is comfortable to wear. I give this mask top rating.

Good mask. to test it, i had my cousin spray me with tear gas(dont worry shes an air force med) and it performed well. no problems detected here, only noted id that filters changed from outside. bag almost completely useless, now i use it for my dissasembled 98C

I bought this mask for practical use for airsoft and also if one day i need it god forbid but the only problem i see with this mask is that the filters are internal and alittle difficult to put in but i still like but wish it came in black thats why i painted mine with a paint marker it worked but as the mask streches the paint chips soo you just need more paint and its not that hard to paint either soo i liked

I used the M17A1 mask during my entire 6 years on duty in the US Army, and was trained as my unit's NBC (Nuc, bio, chem) specialist . This mask is nearly identical to the M17A1, except no drinking tube. Not a huge issue if you've been trained on decontamination and drinking in a hazardous environment. I paid more for my mask, and about the same for lesser masks (Israeli civilian and Russian civilian) I own. If you can't get the mask to seal, you probably didn't get the filters installed correctly. (cover the air outlet with your hands and blow, cover the air inlets and suck. The mask should collapse on your face if sealed properly). Tilt your rifle 45 degrees to use iron sights. The filters are good for 12 hours, before you should find a clear area to change filters.

Great mask for the price, but, like others have said, the filters took me about 3 tests to get it air-tight, and I noticed I couldn't sight down my rifle with it on. A good mask though once set up, and if don't need to change the filters in a contaminated area.

It does what it says. The only downside, should the situation arise, you cannot remove and replace the filters without taking the mask off unlike masks with external filters.

The OM10 gas mask checks out to be a good serviceable mask. One major problem are the filters. They are difficult to install, although once installed properly they work well. The second and more serious concern is that the mask must be removed in order to change filters. A NATO ( Isreali for example) filtered mask allows the filter to be changed while the mask is on. This is a Soviet era knock off of the US Army M17A1 mask. This mask works well for well for most (N)BC agents . I am one of the two folks who helped create one of the primary treatments [MOfibA]for Chem Weapons Exposure in use world wide. I have field tested this and dozens of different types of masks and this is one i tend to reccomend to folks who take my course in civil disorder medical treatment. A better mask is the current US Army mask or the US Navy mask. i have herd alot of people and internet web sites say that this mask is useless and if cheaper than dirt says it works then why cant i return it

Had it shipped to work, and got some strange looks when it came in. But I'd rather have it, and not need it, than need it, and not have it. It is in remarkably good condition for surplus equipment. Worth the $$.
