We have found a bargain on Catoma two-man combat tents that were turned down by the Department of the Navy because they were too roomy and comfortable. Tan with a built in floor and a window/door on each side. Complete with a reversible Green and Tan, full-coverage rain fly, non-snagging shock-corded poles, stakes, instruction manual, and a carrying bag. The rain fly creates an additional 20 square feet of storage outside the tent; big enough to store two full packs. Measures 8x5' and has a 48" center height. Same overall design as the "official" Marine combat tent, but at a much friendlier price. Brand new condition. Cheaper Than Dirt

Civilian Version Of Marine Combat II, 04/17/2008 |
| Reviewer: HardLuck Hill |
| Now I have seen both versions. The Eureka I bought from CTD was full-blown surplus. Still had sand from Arabia in it. The Catoma is BRAND-NEW. Stakes and all. Just a civilized version of the real thing. See why the NAVY turned them down because of colors not MIL-SPEC. Still a must buy because of quality, SAME TENT, SAME Quality. Use seam sealer on seams and it is as waterproof as the real thing. Buy one before they are gone!!! Cannot beat the price. Thanks CTD!!!! |
Perfect TENT, 04/02/2008 |
| Reviewer: Mike |
| I recently purchased this tent from CTD and it got to my home within 4 business days! Within the first 15min's I had the tent setup with the rain fly!!!
The tent is very strong, quality materials and workmanship are visible throughout the entire tent.
For 130bucks you can't beat this deal!!!!
And the amount of room you get inside the tent is amazing enough for me, the wife and all of our equipment and we still had room left.
I searched the internet for over 4 months looking a different military and mil-spec tents and my choices came between this tent and the Eureka 4 man combat tent. Both tents we're on average of about 3-400 dollars for a new tent. So, THIS IS A KILLER DEAL!!!! LESS than HALF PRICE of what the manufacturer is selling this tent for.
They also say this is a 3 season tent...you can really use it all year long just bring a nice modular sleeping system and your set.
So save pocket fulls of cash and buy the last two man tent that you'll ever need.
And they only had about 300 left after I bought mine so get yours today!!! |
