| I ordered this last week due to the price and the reviews and let me tell you, its AWESOME! It was quick on shipping, came brand new in a plastic bag and in the carrying bag. Fits nice and snug, comes with some other goodies that get issued, (comes with powder substance patches and the like) however i cant read dutch so im not sure what the powder is for. Anyways, if your looking for a good gasmask for novelty wear or just to mess around its a great buy! |

| I ordered this mask based on the reviews of how great the bag was. I'm not disappointed with either the bag or the mask. Thought I would give it a test drive for laughs; but found that holding straight ammonia up to the breather didn't let even the faintest fume inside. Couldn't read Finnish, but did some dry runs timing myself on getting the thing on & in place. Easier than a couple I've tried in the past. Couldn't be happier with this item. |

| the mask was a little small, but sealed okay. i wear large frame glasses, and they prevented the mask from sealing unless i actually pressed the mask against my face with my hands.
i plan to buy the filter adapters an earlier reviewer mentioned, and set this mask back for a family member that doesn't wear glasses. you cannot beat the price of this mask, even when you add the cost of the adapter.
i don't recommend this for small kids, but due to the smallish size, this should fit those in their early to mid teens very well. (for costume purposes... if you are worried about an actual nbc attack, buy a modern israeli kid size mask.) |

| As others have already noted the bag is worth 10 bucks alone. It's almost like the mask is just gravy. The bag is quite large and of a fairly light canvas with a large flap that secures with two pushbutton type clasps. Inside there are several pockets along the side that are covered by one large buttoned flap. The rest is an open section where the mask stays and a small divider that keeps the filter can in place. The bag has a shoulder loop and a waistband, a feature I wish more shoulder bags had. You can run and walk with this bag with out it flopping around, you can even lean over. It just stays in place. I think they'd make a great 'get home bag' for the trunk.
The mask it self is spiffy as well. The reality is that you shouldn't buy this with the expectation of using it in a real NBC attack. While they are probably all in great shape, if you don't have back up filters and a full suit/hood, the mask doesn't really gain you much. Any real NBC threat can get you through exposed skin as well as your lungs. A mask is better then nothing, but be realisitic about your plans. If you want real protection, the Israeli M15 mask on this site is probably the cheapest option, but there are full NBC solutions out there if you want to spend the money.
The mask would, however, be fine for teargas or nasty chemical fumes. I bought mine as a sort of costume piece, and in that job it's perfect. These masks are very comfortable, have excellent visibility and don't give that feeling of claustrophobia the old Russian styles did (and those are even more useless for protection). They also look, and sound, like what people expect a gas mask to. And they are made by Nokia.
Buy it for the mask, love it for the bag. I pray that CTD finds a bunch of the bags and sells them for 5 bucks each. What a perfect world that would be.

| Upon further inspection of the mask I discovered that the problem I was having was due to such a tight seal on the intake valve cover (small orange disk that allows to breathe in through filter but not out) which was sealed so well (probably due to unissued condition) that I had to first kinda push it in with my finger but now that I did that it works like a charm. Great buy!

| I purchased two of these due to the price. It was worth it just for the bag, if nothing else! Upon receiving them I opened one up to test it. Great, solid seal, six straps to keep snug, comfortable fit, and easy to breathe through. I was so impressed with this mask that I wore it nearly all day, and even after adventuring the eyepieces never fogged up, and I wasn't left with discomfort around the jaw as some other masks have done in the past. Great buy! |

i cant go wrong. these masks surpassed my expectations. they look cheesy but i got a wonder fit. the bag it comes with is a bonus. it doesnt have
that rubber strap rip your hair out effect either definetly worth a look and a buy. |

| Just got this today. Although the instruction booklet is in Finnish, it's not that hard to figure out the mask. The bag is sturdy, and the mask itself is comfortable but still forms a good seal. The only downside I can see is that the threads are 60mm, but at the price these are selling for you can just buy another one for the filter, if you need it. |

| This is a heck of a deal for only $10. The heavy canvas bag is fairly large and worth the purchase price in itself. The filter is new. The mask is probably about a medium. It is a little small on my face but still big enough to seal properly. This mask is perfect for CS gas/ tear gas situations. As for biological type stuff, Im sure its better than nothing. There is no outer skin. It is basically the same as the underskin of the current militery masks without the black outer skin. Awesome buy for the money and I will be buying one for each member of my family. |

| The mask that I ordered was a step above the rest. I previously ordered a different mask for the same price from a different site and was very unpleased with it. I was skeptical on buying this mask but went for it. it works very well. I work with many chemicals and this mask blocks them all. |

| This is probably NOT the mask you want to trust your life to when wandering radioactive wastelands or being subjected to dangerous neurotoxins. That's a bit too much to ask from a $10 mask. It might work, or it might not, and it's probably better than nothing, but there's no guarantee. However, I have acquired several of these masks (which, I believe, are patterned on the US M9 mask from the Korean War era c. 1952), and they all seem to provide good fit, good seals, and ample protection from OC-type tear gas and similar irritants, which are handy if you need to use some personal defense spray to protect your home and don't feel like breathing it yourself. The side-mounted filter allows right-handers a good cheek weld to the shoulder stocks of long arms should you need to up your level of response while wearing this mask in a self-defense or tactical situation. For ten bucks, especially if you need more than one, I'd say this mask represents a substantial value for anyone whose needs are limited in scope as described above. |

| Very nice quality. Very nice fit. Super fast and easy to put on. Although they do have the older 60mm NATO threads, it will serve its purpose if needed and I'm sure one could figure out a way to use an old 60mm filter in combination with a current 40mm filter if necessary. Besides, if you aren't out of harms way in the amount of time this mask gives, you're more than likely done for anyway. :) For the price you cannot go wrong!! |

| I purchased this mask and was happy with the initial quality of the product. The mask is a great fit and the bag is very nice. The bag is kind of like the M-15 gas mask bag but larger. The one HUGE downfall to this mask is that it does not take the standard 40mm Nato filter. It takes the older 60mm filter which, from what I can find out on the web has not been used since the 60's. So unless you know of some adapter out there, this is going to be strictly a novelty item since 60mm filters are few and far between. Its not listed in the description, but mine came with a clear plastic container with a white powder inside. After doing some research and translating, it appears to be a type of detergent. |
