Trauma kit review, 05/14/2008 |
| Reviewer: Satisfied |
| This is an excellent kit. I was very impressed by the bag alone. Mine was not the same as pictured, it was digital camo, and had MOLLE straps on both the front and back of the outside, and the inside setup had two pouches on one side and elastic straps on the other (a better setup than the one pictures IMO). It is built very sturdy and I have no worries about punctures or zipper problems. The contents are similar to the picture (although my tape only had about 2 feet left ??). I added a few things to the kit, like sutures and clamp scissors, but it came fully stocked and stuffed, so there isn't very much room left. Overall it was an excellent product, I already bought another one to keep in the car. |

| The kit is just like they show, with one exception. While the image is OD, what I got was a very stark black. I was expecting OD. But since it is not returnable, I'm stuck with it. Maybe Krylon will help. |
CTD MOLLE Trauma Kit, 11/25/2007 |
| Reviewer: Wisconsin Shopper |
| Very pleased with my Tactical Trauma kit. This is a step above the typical "boo boo" kits many carry and offers some very useful tools for more serious injuries.
The pouch is very well made with double zippers with pull cords that open very easily with just one hand. The MOLLE attachments are rugged and mate perfectly with my tactical vest. The pouch alone is being sold for $18.00 + elsewhere with -no- contents. CTD offers good quality contents which are well selected for the intended purpose. This is a good design at a reasonable price.
When I ordered mine, there was no choice of color/camo selection. I did however get O.D. Green, which is what I wanted. How about Multi-Cam as an option?
There is no perfect First Aid kit on the market but the CTD Tactical Trauma Kit comes very close and still has room to add custom components of the user's choosing. It would be very hard to build your own kit cheaper or better than this one, which is ready to go.
I would recommend this kit without reservation! |
