Original military bayonet for the Cetme rifle. Used, good condition with square notch lock. 8" blade, 13.5" overall with correct scabbard.

| this bayonet came in a very timely manner, only issues were that the sheath was frayed slightly, the bottom ring for attaching a cord was damaged, and the blade was nonexistent, it was as if someone dremeled the "sharp" out of it, the blade is EXTREMELY hard to sharpen, almost like trying to sharpend a diamond on a sponge, but it retains its edge indefinitely, cut the lug, and removed the clipy thing by unscrewing the button...fairly nice knife for 9 bucks or so.. |

| After reading the other evaluations, I decided to take a chance and order one of these puppies. I ordered it Monday and got it today (Wednesday). I do not know what the Unhappy Campers got but what I got appears to be a brand-new, unused, razor-sharp bayonet with a sheath in perfect condition. Nothing is loose. Nothing rattles. There is no wear and tear on the sheath. Even the manufacturer's cartouches are sharp and clearly visible. I will definitely order a couple more with my next order. |

| Ordered one just to check it out. Won't fit on your CETME if you have the CAI blast enhancer instead of the supressor.
Had a descent condition and a Descent Sheath. So I'm satified. It was definitely worth the price and I could probably add another on to my next order just for the heck of it. |

| Okay, I guess this is a hit or miss item....Mine is in pretty good condition, and the scarboard wasn't too bad either. Considering the price I'd have to say I am happy with it and I gave it an all 5 bullets rating. I'll probably order another one on my next order and keep the better of the two with my rifle and throw the other under the seat of my car. |

| I bought two one near new and one looked like some one used it for a shovel.
I figure I got a excellent one for 20 bucks, If you are looking for a excellent example to compete you Cetme
Buy more than one. I bought several items from CTD all of them in multiple. For the most pat I received
One excellent to one not so good on all of my items, but at these prices you can afford to gamble if not get another hobby!

| I picked up a few of these, figuring the reviews should be spot on...well, don't be misled. What I received was in terrible shape. Terrible! The webbing for the sheath was worn to tatters on one, the other was barely connected by threads. The blades are nicked and worn severely...I was very disappointed, as I order a lot of stuff from Cheaperthandirt and this was the first time they sent me junk!!!!! |

| The one I got was not as nice as the previous reviews or the picture. The scabbard belt loop was fraied quite bad. The snap was broken also. The blade had large chips out of it and the point was flat. It had seen a lot of heavy use. Some repairs and filing has it in serviceable condition. Still not too bad for the price. |

| This is a great knife for the price. Mine came dull, but in great condition for military surplus. After five minutes of sharpening, I put a razor edge on it. Very thick and solid. |

| Figured this would be a piece of crap since it was priced so low. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and condition of the bayonet and scabbard - virtually a new item with a little rust on the scabbard. Will probably buy more of these. |

| Bought 2, both arrived in fantastic condition. Quality was better than expected.Had no edge of course but once sharpened held edge well. I cut the bayonet lugs off of each knife and removed spring and clip mechanism for securing the knife to the rifle as I did not have one. Very nice knife for the price. |

| I run a survival web site with a vast array of expensive and not so expensive blades designed for use in a survival situation. I bought this on a whim as the price was right. I have to say it was well worth the purchase. I have no idea if this was a great bayonet but it is a decent outdoor tool. It came with an OK edge but with a few passes with a file to reprofile and some fine tuning with a ceramic stone, the blade was brought up to a really good usable edge. I whacked at some limbs and used it to baton through a few hunks of firewood and it worked well.
The handle is very nice and I noticed little fatigue from use although I might add that on some of these, the checkering on the grip can be pretty agressive and a few passes with a light duty sand paper will keep the blisters down..
In all, its a really nice knife for the price your paying and if your putting togeather a few "stash away" kits, you cant go wrong putting one of these in one. Its not a perfect option, but on a budget, and with a little preperation, its not a bad one!
