M1 Carbine magazine pouch constructed of cotton with snap closures on front and a male snap on the inside sleeve that slides over the buttstock. Marked "US", this is the correct style and pattern to accompany your weapon, current production, imported. Pouch holds two 10 round stripper clips when attached to the gun, or two 10 round magazines when attached to a belt. The original design of this pouch was to wear on a belt, pack, or vest this is the reason it has a snap on the inside of the sleeve.

4.0 Rating Decent Reproduction - 11/14/2011M1 Carbine Mag Pouch US Marked Snap Closures and Snap on the Inside of Sleeve4.0000
Reviewer: ArmyO
For a reproduction, this is a decent, although not an outstanding one. Several reviewers have said it was a tight fit to get the magazines in and then get it on the stock. I didn't have any problem with that, but if you do, putting the magazines in first and doing a little stretching should more than fix the problem. There is a snap inside the part that wraps around the stock. This is for use with belts. It is a good idea to put a piece of duct tape or something else over that, so that it does not scratch the stock. It's a nice looking feature to add to an M1 Carbine, and it's functional as well.

4.0 Rating Works for me - 5/8/2011M1 Carbine Mag Pouch US Marked Snap Closures and Snap on the Inside of Sleeve4.0000

Agree with other reviewers, it's a tight fit for 15 rd mags... 10 rd mags will fit without strecthing to fit. You have to remove stock to put it on. I got 15 rd mags to fit after letting them strech it out for a day off the weapon. As always CTD was fast with shipping!!
4.0 Rating cool and good for the price - 4/20/2011M1 Carbine Mag Pouch US Marked Snap Closures and Snap on the Inside of Sleeve4.0000

This is a cool little accessory for your carbine. I was able to fit two 15 round magazines into mine on the buttstock, probably better suited for a belt- but I like the look of it where it is.
5.0 Rating Nice - 4/5/2011M1 Carbine Mag Pouch US Marked Snap Closures and Snap on the Inside of Sleeve5.0000
Reviewer: Jay
Not a bad repro, great price, if you put the two mags in first then try to stretch it out a bit with your hand before putting it on the stripped stock it works pretty well. Very tights so you have to make sure you take the rifle out of the stock and place it over the front and slip it to where you want it. Thanks CTD!
