| just got mine today couldn't be happier very little cosmoline an easy clean and no deep gouges or craks A+ item the only thing i can see is that my m1 is a nice light tan color and my new handguard is a deep brown no biggie though |

| The handguard I got had LOTS of cosmoline soaked in to it, and a number of cracks, splits, and gouges. Definately not good condition, more like fair. |

| I was very sketchy at first, but I soon found out it was better than I hoped for and now my M1 carbine does not look gangster with the metal handgaurd, it looks original. |
