Classic Hardwood Military folding stock with pistol grip, swing out wire stock and butt plate, sling swivel slot, and wooden hand guard, exact replica of the original GI issue with leather cheek rest. Outfit and upgrade your classic WWII or Korean War vintage M1 or M-2 carbine with this beautiful hardwood stock. Not legal in all areas, so check your local laws before ordering.
Will not fit Universal or Iver Johnson guns, or other replicas. Installation on the M-2 will require fitting to accommodate the selector. The current production Auto-Ordinance guns will require substantial fitting even though they are advertised as all Mil-Spec. The receivers on these guns are slightly larger in several areas than original GI Carbines and may require sanding and fitting. Total weight: 2 pounds. Stock length of pull measures 13.5"

The stock fit my Saginaw with no modification. The barrel band clip needs some work to catch and hold correctly and the oiler clamp is a loose fit. Otherwise, it was great.

This stock was a great buy every thing went together like it meant to be on my General Motors Co. 1944 Inland DIV. Carbine. I went and shot it and no rattling like the original stock did. All an all, the stock paired with an Ultimak M6-b forward rail mount topped with a UTG long eye releif scope, this rifle is the best I have ever used.

The add stated “Exact replica” well it aint. The original had leather not vinyl for a cheek piece, original sported walnut wood, not this stuff, the hardware on the original was parkerized, not blued like this one is and the rivets on this cheek piece are incorrect. The hand guard needed to have some acraglas added to the lip to secure it tight under the barrel band. All my military Carbines fit nicely with out any modification to the stock. It is too pricy for what you get but compared to the price of an original I will gladly pay the money and do some work on the wood and hardware. But the bottom line is if your going to make a copy of an original, make it like the original, don’t just go half way.
What did i get myself into?

1st the good, the hardware is excellent, I had to dremel the screw slot to accept a normal sized screwdriver. It came apart easily (removel was needed to adjust the recoil block). After placing the receiver and barrel it neeeded to be dremeled in a few more places. The handguard was way too thick, could not sight the rifle, so I had to sand and fit the stock and hanguard. I then had to strip the finish from the whole unit to try and match. It came out close after 3 tries. I am looking for a new handguard, it still has fitting problems. I wanted one, I got one, I don't want another one.
