I bought 4 of these for myself and 2 for my dad. I ended up receiving 4 30-06 mags and 2 .308 mags. Sending the 308 mags back would cost more than it's worth so maybe I'll buy a gun they fit someday. The 742 is not really happy to be fired like it's an SKS and changing the mags is not fast. I had no more failures with these mags than I had with the stock mag though.

Wanted to get for awhile. Reluctant. Ordered four. Received in two days. Fit as well as four factory 4-round mags in my 7400. Spring feels great. Cold-cycled nine rounds flawlessly. I will not load ten... don't believe in it. Don't store any loaded mags. Ruins springs by constant compression. YOU HAVE TO BE SOMEWHAT EXPERIENCED TO INSERT AND REMOVE MOST REMOVEABLE MAGS CORRECTLY. Someone who has never picked up a gun will be frustrated. I am very satisfied and am sure they will work well on the range.

I bought 2 a few weeks ago and used them for the first time last weekend and they are great. The magazines are in geat condition and I was able to load all 10 rounds with no problem. Inserts and releases with ease. I have a pump action and semi auto, works for both. Great buy!!!
