This mag has never loaded and fired the first round. I have another 30 round clip and the Ruger 10 that perform 100%. Don't buy this clip!

Sucks... 2nd bullet jammed straight outta the package. I will say that the bottom half of the clip shoots well. I've went through 30 rounds and now the bullets feel loose inside and shake around in there. Dont know how well it's gonna work in the future. Also, it's totally plastic. I'd recommend a better one.

I bought two of these mags a while ago and love them they work great i have well over 2000 rounds through them. The only thing is every time i go out the first time i use the mag it jams a few times but that might be because i haven't cleaned my gun since i got it. But once it gets "warmed up" it works like a charm i recommend it to every one who wants a good mag

I bought one of these mags, and out of the package, it wouldn't fit in my gun at all! I had to file the small metal tab on the rear of the mag. Then it would not load(more filing) I took it out today. The first two2 rounds did NOT fire, but after that everything went smooth. Still not a bad mag for the price!

No problems with this MAGAZINE. Hey, "Shooter" from March 2008-maybe you need a firearms course to know proper nomenclature and be able to fire your gun properly. 10-22's don't take clips, they take magazines. Use quality ammo (not Wolf) and your firearm will perform the way it was manufactured to. Thank you for the opportunity to reply.

I use these magazines when rabbit hunting and have had a high success rate regarding reliability. I have six of them and have access to sixty rounds with just a flip. It seems to me that when I get a jam it is because the gun fails to eject all the way. (stove pipe) Also, I suggest the use of ammunition that has a copper tip rather than lead. It is in my opinion a great product.

These are absolute junk!!! Failure to eject after every round fired. I have cleaned my Ruger three times now and had it inspected by a gunsmith. Factory 10 round mags feed and eject with no problems. The plastic lips suck! This mag isnt even good for a paper weight! Dont wase the money! I wish someone made a reliable hi-cap mag for the 10/22.

I just got three of these yesterday. (Super fast shipping by the way.) I loaded up all three of them with thirty rounds each and I got three strips of one inch wide duct tape wrapped around them at the top, middle, and bottom since I read some reviews about them falling apart when you leave them loaded. (Got me a little paranoid.) Anyway, I took them out and blasted through them. No failures to feed but I did have a few failures to eject the spent casing. I think it has something to do with my dirty dirty 10/22. I just cleaned it really good though and we will see what happens next time I take it out. If nothing else, I will replace the spring and extractor before I blame the magazine. My Ruger is over twenty years old and is all original except for a few "bolt on" accessories. All in all, I think this is a great magazine for the price. You can't beat $12.00 for a thirty round magazine even if it only works five or ten times. We'll see how the plastic lips hold up.

I bought a bounch of these before the mag. ban in Kali. I bought a few different makes to test in my non modified 10/22. The eagle brand was the best. My testing was very unscientific but I remember being impressed by the eagles. The Eagles have plastic lips. I have heard about mags with steel lips causing wear and damage to the 10/22's bolt. I've owned these mags over 10 years now. I use 6 and keep the rest new in the wraper. The ones that I have used are so good that I havent taken the time to think about 10/22 mags in over 10 years! I don't think I've ever had a mag. related malfunction with these! I also leave them fully loaded! The lips are durable, I've let idiots load it and watched them try to force rounds though the feed lips, no problem. I load them with a Shooters Ridge loader the one with the green handle. You must get this loader. It's the only one that works. Together its an awsome combo.

Purchased 2 of these with low expectation, Ive put about 1000 rounds thru both of them with no problems. They are a little flimsy and I would not expect the lips to last very long because they are plastic. I amazed noone has maunufactured an aftermarket clipwith metal lips like the factory clip. I've already had $12 worth of fun out of them !

I purchased two of these about 6 or 7 months ago. The first couple of times I took them to the range they were a bit tight around the bolt of my ruger. They loosened up after putting about 60 rounds through each. After that I've had very little problems and have put about 2500 rounds through each of them. Since they have plastic lips I would not keep more than 10 rounds in them for self defense purposes. For the money, not bad at all.

i bought 7 of these two years ago, with over six thousand rounds between all seven of them, i have found that there are only 2 problems with these magazines- the first problem was that the bullets would stovepipe into the gun, i figured that there was too much pressure on the magazine springs so i loaded up 25 rounds of ammo in each magazine and let each one sit loaded for two weeks before using them again, this solved the stovepipe problem. For about a month, i was hopitalized due to a injury (take a good guess what i was doing) while i was gone i left the magazines loaded with about 20 rounds in each, when i returned home, i found that four of the magazines had split apart, this was easy to fix, all i had to do was epoxy them back together with a little bit of gorrilla glue and clamp each one of them in a vise for about four hours apiece, i havent had a problem with any of these magazines since. these are good magazines despite what everyone says, but like almost all aftermarket magazines, they need to be tinkered with to achieve their full potiential.

Contrary to what some reviewers have said, this is a very good magazine, if you give it the time. People say that it sucks, and yes, if you use it straight out the box, it does suck. Alot. But it can be fixed with a little time and a little patience. The day that I got my six in the mail, I put my radio to the local classic rock station, cracked open a cool beer, and got to work on them. First, I held the eagle mag next to a ruger stock mag and compared every little thing about them. I then took my field knife (spending the whole time wishing I had a file) and filed the front of the mag where the bullet feeds into the chamber. After that, I loaded the mag with dummy ammo I picked up as sportsman's warehouse and ran the cycle of operations again and again, fine tuning and filing where need be, and repeated the process 5 more times for the other mags. Now I have six thirty round magazines that work better than the ruger mag that came with the rifle. And I am not even a gunsmith. Also, the mags do snap together as advertized, but not very well, so break out the duct tape.

Jammed twice the first time i use it, i cut out a bit on the front of the mag where the bullet nose is, and in the back where the bolt feeds the round in, so both looked like a slot, after that it worked flawlessly.

I have one of these from way before the old ban (back when you could still get them at Walmart for under $10) and I have never been able to get it to feed a whole magazine full without jamming and double feeding at least once or twice. Maybe the newer (post ban) ones are better? Who knows? I think these are the WORST aftermarket hi-cap mags for the Ruger 10/22 (with the exception of the JAM-LINE mags, which come in right behind these).......In my experience the ONLY hi-cap aftermarket mags to work almost 100% perfect for me in any 10/22 would be the Butler Creek Hotlips (or steel lips) mags.......So do yourself a favor and buy those instead!

There worst magazines I have ever bought for any gun that I have ever owned. I suppose there's a reason why I was able to get them for about 8 bucks a piece. Almost every single round I tried would not feed except for the first round. I switched rifles thinking maybe it was just the gun...nope, didn't work in my friend's either. Don't waste your money, even if they are cheap.

The reason why this mag suck so much is that the plastic around where mag goes into rifle and around the bullet is not polished smooth. Ruff factory surface where bulet slides makes it harder to action thus making the semi automatic bolt spring not strong enough to perform. I polished the rough spots and it now works better but it still jams sometimes. I got an old 10/22 not new. The mag sucks!

These mags function better than the Hotlips mags but do not last quite as long, but you can get two of these 30 rounders for the price of one 25 round hotlips mag. No problems with feeding but after a while the plastic feed lips start to crack. Does not seem to slow them down any though. Again, Excellent Product!!!

I was very skeptical when I purchased these mags due to my past experience with the lovely hotlips magazines. These mags, however, work just as well, and sometimes better than the factory 10 rounders. It would be great to find some type of loading aide for these, other than that, they are perfect. If you have issues with them I would suggest trying a different brand of ammo.

They also snap together well, letting you have the ability to carry 60 rounds in one piece, instead of having to carry several mags. Awesome product for anyone who loves to go plinking, and or target practice without having to reload all the time.
